I said a while back it's his boundless enthusiasm that endears him to the fans - he's like an eager puppy.
All eyes were on the celebration, but I love the reaction of the Chav defender (Disasi?) in the few seconds leading up to that still.
I think he wanted to murder Mudreyk. He was on point duty and stood there like a ****ing statue. Sweet delivery on the button by Tsimi though - but underrated for that if you ask me. His corners and set-pieces are often sublime. Not as good with a moving ball as Trent and Robbo though, but still class.
My favourite bit about that was when he desperately tried to pull VVD's shirt as he chased him, but missed
Have to say that having lost my faith in Kelleher a bit in his stint earlier in the season, it's coming back after the last few games.
runs of games helps players. Same as joe gomez. playing games brought him back up to speed and cut out most errors. Kelleher was making some bad errors in the europa just cos he was cold coming into it.
Well, partly perhaps - but when he first came into the team a few years ago I was impressed, and he was fairly cold then. Earlier this season though I was beginning to wonder about him, but he's definitely stepped up lately. Hope he keeps it up.
His starting position for our high line vs Chelsea was always on point. You'd argue a better player than Gallagher would've scored past him but at the same time you'd argue he got into the Chelsea players' heads with his immense performance.
He was prob playing in the under 21s most of the time a few years ago I’d imagine as Adrian was on the bench.
Referee Chief disagreed with two decisions that went against Liverpool. https://anfieldwatch.co.uk/carabao-...verpool-chelsea-gravenberch-caicedo-van-dijk/
The gravemberch one still winds me up tbh. How many more of these are we gonna have to put up with this season? Will we be left with a under 12s side in the final PL game? He says it needs outlawing from the game and I agree with that, but I doubt the refs will unless we're the ones making the challenges.
Its not anything to do with refs. that is hackett who is frimly out at PGMOL and is using it to have a go. The usual suspects like gallagher, dean, webb etc are all defending the turd of a display.
I don’t get why so many people complaining about this. 1, everyone saying oh but chelsea hd a younger team. Depends how you work it out. As a normal average sure, but that’s because we had vvd and Endo in 30s bringing it up. If you had 10 19 year olds and a 60 year old you’d still say was a younger team than a bunch of 23 year olds (an an example). But it’s not that. It’s more the lack of experience. Liverpool brought on McConnell danns Quansah and Clark who have what, 30 top flight games between them? With Quansah having 20 of those? That’s why people are talking about it. Because of the age and experience. Chelsea had young players but had a lot around 22-23/24 and were brought for 30-40-60-100m. You expect a £100m player that’s played in WC to our perform a 19 year old who has 5 games under their belt. It’s also funny people moaning about they aren’t home grown. They’ve all come through academy somewhat even if not local lads. Only Elliott wasn’t involved in academy. Uniteds class of 92 giggs - was at man city Beckham - was at spurs I’m guessing we have to remove them from any talk of 92 in that case?
