Chelsea Vs Palace. Ideally there is a mass on-field brawl between the 2 teams, game abandoned, both sides have points deducted.
Wet Spam and Palace fans both want managers who will not only win, but win in style. Spammers think they should be in the Champions League. Just like when Curbs left them in 7th place and Zola came in and took them down, but that was OK because he played the West Ham way.
Racist moron gets slap on wrist https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-68288991 Should have been banned for life. Only that might deter other cave dwellers from behaving the same way.
Ah diddums... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68341149 Did Kalvin get upset because nasty Pep said he had a pot belly when coming back from Qatar? Pep, you monster For pity's sake. Players need to man up these days. He's your manager. Not your dad.
Who was that portly goalie we used to sing "Who ate all the pies" to? He took it in good humour. I saw a clip of a West Ham fan saying that Phillips "Ain't the Yorkshire Pirlo, he's the Yorkshire Pudding". If Phillips hears that it could finish him off for good.
I'm glad I'm not a Manyoo fan, but if I was I'm not sure I'd be happy about this latest from my Club's new minority shareholder; https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68361025 A "Wembley of the North" and all that. It wouldn't be top of my priority list. Sorting out the shambolic way the Club is being run and recruiting some decent players would be top of my list. This smacks of Karren Brady's lofty plans for Wet Spam at the London Stadium athletics venue. Or (going back a bit) the CAFC board's attempts to get the FA Cup Final played at the Valley in the early 1920's in front of 100,000 fans. All pie in the sky, and little to do with what fans want. I fear Sir Jim is going to prove a disappointment for all those disgruntled and severely spoilt United fans of the home counties
Torquay United are going into administration. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68372224 Not that long ago they were battling in League 2. Now they're 6th tier. I feel for their fans.
A points deduction could lead to relegation and the Southern League. It was only about six years ago I saw them play away to Rotherham in the 4th division. For an outpost they had a cracking following of about 300.
Breaking news: Everton have had their points deduction reduced from 10 to 6 But do they still have another deduction hanging over them? This whole situation is ridiculous. Clubs should not be deducted points mid-season. All deductions should be made early in the summer, so appeals can be settled in the closed season and the deduction (if any) then applies from the first day of the following season. Then every team & their fans know where they stand. Who goes down at the end of a season should be decided on the pitch. Not in a court room.
Yes they still have another outstanding case which must be heard before 8/4/24 (so this season). Same for Forest - theirs has to be heard by 8/4/24 also. Obviously Man City must be allowed a much longer notice period for their alleged wrongdoings. Maybe give them 10 years before any possible sanction. Personally I think that cases should be heard as soon as possible even if that means mid-season. In fact I believe that they MUST be heard in the same season as the alleged breach. Otherwise it’s too easy for clubs to break the rules and then in the following season (knowing their punishment in advance) just spend accordingly to cover the points deduction, avoid relegation and thus effectively get away with their original wrongdoing. That can’t be right.
