Labour's record on the economy under Brown is indefensible. That, plus getting on the wrong side of Brexit and appointing a Hamas supporter as leader accounts for the fact that Labour has been our of office for so long.

I would have thought it was obvious that Reform voters realise there's not a cat's chance in hell, of gaining office. Disaffected Tory voters, faced with a high percentage of liberal MP's in their party, will tolerate five years of Labour (I doubt it will be more - the quality of Starmer's front bench is woeful) if the new, revived Tory Party adopts Conservative, right of centre policies. as much of Europe is doing. The reason this is happening? It's not immigration. It's mass immigration.

What will make Islamists and Hard Left more homogenous is the struggle in Palestine/Israel. And given there is not likely to be a resolution of this long running conflict in my lifetime, or indeed, yours, that will be a constant headache for Labour Party leaders. You can probably add future conflicts involving Islam of a Balkan, Iraq, Libya, Yemen nature, which will add to the problem. There are many good Muslims in the UK, and that number is increasing annually, who will take the Islamic side of the argument, where it is arguable (death cults like ISIS was not). As an example, it's not hard for anyone, let alone a good Muslim, to feel sympathy for Palestinian civilians in Gaza. They will invariably fall that side of the argument, while the West supports Israel's right of self defence (if exercised reasonably).

If Labour can't manage this properly, either Jewish people will leave the UK, or Muslims will flock to an Islamic Party in Parliament, so that we move to sectarian politics. Of course, both could happen.

So the Tory party has had to suspend 30p Lee for saying that Sadiq Khan is controlled by Islamists. Sunak was right to suspend him of course, but Suella Braverman, who has made similar comments to Anderson's - saying that Islamists are taking over the country - retains the Tory whip. Many Tory MPs have expressed their concern over the suspension of Anderson and transport minister Mark Harper has already said he'd like to see Anderson back in the party, which is absolutely not Islamophobic of course.

There's a far bigger issue than these individuals when MP's are getting death threats from Islamic fundamentalists and their hard left supporters, such that the Speaker of the HoC unilaterally changes parliamentary procedures for the protection of MP's by manufacturing a vote more sympathetic to the cause of those making the death threats. It is truly sinister.

What is sinister is the conflation of the actions of a small number of Islamic fundamentalists with all Muslims.

Anderson did not refer to ordinary Muslims. He referred to "Islamists". Islamism is a distorted, extreme version of Islam. They encourage the formation of ghettos, threaten Parliament, push for antisemitism (all the river to the sea ****), threaten schools (let's not forget there's a teacher in Batley who has not been able to show his face for several years because a showed a cartoon to a school class).

These extremists are only as strong as the rest of the UK is weak. When Amiss was murdered by an Islamist, the media droned on about social media. **** that. He was murdered by an Islamic terrorist.

This is why Anderson's words are resonating with much of the population.

Anderson said that Khan (an 'ordinary' Muslim, who happens to have been elected Mayor) has given London away to his Islamist mates, which is nonsensical Islamophobic bile. Most of the population don't live in London (like yourself) and maybe they'll be persuaded that it's true, in the same way that many seemed to believe that there were Islamic no-go areas in London a few years back. As with Braverman, this is highly dangerous Islamophobic rabble-rousing, encouraging the 'othering' of all Muslims. Sunak was right to kick Anderson out and he should do the same with Braverman, with both being permanent expulsions.

David Amess was indeed murdered by a Islamic terrorist. Jo Cox was murdered by a far right terrorist, who would no doubt approve of the words of Anderson and Braverman.

Both Anderson and Braverman are giving warnings. The people of the UK won't just look at those. Many will have already looked with unease at Hoyle seeking to appease violent, threatening elements on the streets and around Parliament. They will look at what is happening to destroy society and culture in Europe and the consequent move of the voting populace to the political right. This is not done by ordinary Muslims, but by the extreme elements of Islam. However, it has to be said that immigrants from some countries are able to assimilate better to UK society than those from other countries. For example, the more extreme elements of Islam are not seen in all Muslim countries. It is something lawmakers need to heed.

Saying something has happened that hasn't happened isn't a warning, it's a lie.

Scully, who failed in his attempt to become Tory candidate for London Mayor (imagine being beaten by Susan Hall!), has already had to apologise for his 'no-go' area comments. Here's the response from the Tory West Midlands mayor....

In response, Andy Street, the Tory West Midlands mayor, urged “those in Westminster to stop the nonsense slurs”.

He wrote on X: “The idea that Birmingham has a ‘no-go’ zone is news to me, and I suspect the good people of Sparkhill … I for one am proud to lead the most diverse place in Britain.”

Street needs their votes. I would have thought even the most blinkered person could see that. Normal citizens are tired of seeing groups of youths go round with hoodies up and masks on. We don't want to go the way of Sweden

Everyone excited for the big by-election today? Had a small bet on Galloway a few weeks ago and he’s odds-on now so it’s a win-win. Jelly and ice cream when the **** dies.

( or is it old news and pages back?)

The donor, who received alot of PPE contracts, asked our chairman for his box...and got it..

Sadiq Khan on James O'Brien today. All the Tory racists and Islamophobes should listen to what he had to say in the first 15 minutes or so. Quite magnificent.
