What was Caicedo like at Brighton? It seems going to Chelsea and his whole attitude has changed and not in a good way. Maybe it’s the environment but no way would Klopp allow him to have turned out like this.

Was my daughter's third birthday today, so I've missed everything.

Another trophy in the cabinet! Looked at the team sheet and we only have what, 2 senior outfield players on the bench. To win (and deservedly) that today is exceptional.

Seeing the replays of Liverpool fans celebrating triumphantly, I can't help but feel sorry for those whose dreams didn't come true today. Really have to feel sorry for the referee and VAR team.

made me laugh when he said that. He’s been brilliant and he spoke really well in the interview as well. Seems like he has a really good head on his shoulders. Lfc fan since he was 5 and living boyhood dream. Makes a difference

Thought Danns looked lively when he came on. Decent header from vvds header across. Then got into the 6 yard box twice, one a brilliant block from Colwill and the other almost bundled in from Elliot’s header.

Don’t know much about the kids so not sure what kind of player he is but done well in his 2 appearances so far.

And McConnell looks really calm on the ball. Couple times got it from the defence and turned. Wanted the ball, opened body up well. Reminded me of Bajcetic

Only downside, expect some punishment for klopp for the post match comments - said ref wasn’t up to it and no common sense.

he's grown 6 inches in a year at least.

    really busy energetic player.

scored a load this season in the u18s and u21s. 5 goals in 3 games. in fa youth cup, 2 from 4 in the u21s and 9 in 9 in the u18s.

the problem we have <laugh> is the fa youth cup qf is Thursday so we have to decide who plays in the senior fa cup and who plays in the youth one lol.

koumas, kone Doherty and danns are doing well.

he only turned 18 last month.

McConnell is from sunderland and he's continued on from his preseason form for us. he's got some growing to do imo.

Needed saying. I’m normally quite reserved about officials when watching with my boy, but today took the piss and I was very vocal about what a joke he was

It did seem he very much didn’t want to book anyone early for fear of having to send them off.

Chillwell should have been booked early as should caicedo. But seems like he wanted to get to 60 mins before doing it so players can then be subbed etc.

And that’s exactly what would have happened to Chilwell after he got gobby at Bradley for absolutely nothing. Would have been a red if he’d been punished esrly. Same with caicedo for his 5 fouls and one very bad one.

I want to just say this.

every second you watched klopp at subs, at full time at ht in extra time he was beaming. he was smiling and seeing up those players. he removed alm pressure from them.

pochettino was like any manager under pressure and so where his players. they'd no thought to what might be only how tired they were or what would happen if they lose.

this above all is klopp. he was utterly central to that win as on another night those kids fold. he kept them going.

I didn't take much notice of Caicedo at that previous lot he played for, but I've seen nothing to suggest he's even a £30m player so far, never mind £115m.
A competent ref and he'd have walked before half-time.
