    Another day, another cup game.
    Wednesday 8pm.
Hopefully we can muster a team for this without cradle-snatching.

this one really will be u16s now.

the Nottm forest game has to take precedence.

    then the europa.

dunno what we do cos I can't pick a team without players with an awful lot of football into their legs.

    kelleher/Adrian
    Bradley quansah gomez tsimikas
    ?? McConnell clark
    gordon danns koumas

We'll want to win in 90 mins, as there's no replay and a lot of them will have school in the morning.

Do shin pads go on the inside or the outside of a plaster cast? If you're in a cast do you even need a shin pad or does the cast count as one?

Half our squad will be asking these questions.

Our team against Soton on Wednesday will consist of Kelleher and 5 teenagers pushing around 5 senior players in wheelchairs. :bandit:

We will see, there was a lot of seniors there celebrating so maybe they've been injured even more.

Gravenberch and Endo both left today's game with a protective boot on so midfield could look a bit thin

We're gonna get ****ing hammered. Struggle against teams who press and you lot are one of the best at it.

We're also in ****e form and for some reason the managers thinks he can get away without playing a DM. God help us if he does that here.

First match we've played with VAR this season :(

I'm not going mate. **** spending hundreds of pounds to do 9 hours travelling to watch a VAR match :)

I'll probs pop to the boozer and then go at home at HT when we're 3 down.

Heres the team as I see it.

Kelleher could play but would likely be protected for the europa and city games. Maybe adrain starts? maybe not.
    Bradley - played 72mins only
    Quansah - played 25mins only
Gomez - bit red line this one. played form 28th minute so thats 100mins in him. (theres nobody esle)
    Tsimikas played 35mins
Macallister - played 87mins looked itred.
    Mcconnell - played 35mins
    Clark played about 50mins
Gordon - didn't play this one. clear RW option.
    Danns - played 30mins
Gakpo played 87mins. might be ok.

    what we do know:

Endo played 120 with another caicedo assault so out
    Diaz out played 120mins
    Elliott out played 120mins
    Gravenberch out obviously
Szoboszlai. let it out that hes back for forest only.
    Salah - we don't know.

    Roberston ok for bench imo.
konate - again played 90 and is ok for bench but no more.
koumas was unused sub - for me would be in for gakpo most likely on the left.
Nyoni - again unused as a child he is too light to be exposed really. we like him so much he is along for just experiences.

We also know that the u18s play the day after this game in the fa youth cup so i think this will be balanced.

    The last youth u21 team:
    O. Kelly, Pitt, Scanlon, Miles, Nallo, Pilling, Gordon (Spearing, 85), Clark, Danns, Nyoni, Kone-Doherty.

I'd suggest Scanlon and miles might make our fa cup bench.

morrison is anothe roption but again u18s. It'd be bench filler.

I'd say we would put on robertson, konate and koumas as subs at this point. I really don't know if anyone form salah, szoboszlai or nunez would be there to sit on the bench.

We will red line macallister here but i don't actually see any options unless klopp really wants to go nuts and throw another kid in.

What I’m seeing is the 2nd debut of Jay Spearing. Give him the captains armband as well
