Hi guys quite simple I'm just interested in hearing people's opinions on who is responsible when things aren't right on the pitch ? Poll added
You haven’t got an option which says all of or most of the other options. As in life, it is never just one thing.
Now perhaps you will finally accept it wasn't Bruce's fault ... I mean it can't have been by your own rules. Myself ? I can still blame the manager for poor performance from today onwards.
Munson desperate to get Bruce cock up his arse why else would he say the same pointless ****ing ****, 20 times a day across 2 threads
I’ve gone for luck being the main reason. it was luck that we signed a star midfielder who went on to get a season long ban. it was luck that our next star signing got a freak toe injury it was luck that saw half of the remaining injuries There are some secondary issues like a sense of naivety from EH and a non existent January transfer window.
You can have **** owners, **** transfers and a **** manager. Like, we can be proper **** but have a coach that plays OK football. You can be proper **** and have a coach that plays **** football. Southampton had a coach in the same period as us that played OK football. We had in that time two coaches that played **** football. Bruce was ****ing ****, Howe is way better.
I agree but nobody was blaming anyone but pardew or Bruce.. it didn't suit... Bruce was **** and had a worse club to manage, but people said he had a good squad and no excuses. Goalposts moved Howe has less excuses for me... much better situation and squad.
The squad was better than bottom of the league winless after like 10 matches tbh. That's undeniable, we could barely string basic passes together, players were off work more than at it and we were dreadful to watch. I do agree people went after Pardew for no reason, I think he was by far the best performing manager at Newcastle during the Ashley era.
You're more balanced than some on this .. I'm as usual stirring up trouble, but there's definitely some people moving the goalposts. Roland has been spot on about the summer all along and not many people care to simply confess it. He's also been right about Howe not changing things and his game management. I've caused enough trouble this morning, but I suppose the real question is whether Howe proves people right or wrong over the next year or 2.
We need to add an option for Captain Chaos. He promised to sell his soul to the devil, to secure our success years ago, but he clearly hasn't. It's all on him.
I thought I'd add myself in because I knew people would be looking for a way out. The future is bright, but errors could hold the club back years.
