It's called the Social Attitudes Survey and people were asked over many years whether they were a little or a lot prejudiced against people of other races. The number who said they were was always between 25% and 38% and biased towards people who said they voted Tory. If you are unaware of it perhaps that explains why you keep putting the word racist in quote marks.

I saw that this morning. I think what's worse is the way the programme frames these debates so there's no real push at showing this is no different to antisemitism. And that the likes of Dowden and Coffey are not challenged at all in the same way that Labour are when it comes to so-called antisemitism. There's also a deliberate narrative being pushed that those on palestinian marches are extremists and antisemitic. Even those who protest outside the MP's home. Whilst I may not agree with doing it outside their home they are not "a mob" nor being antisemitic. Today Dowden and Coffey threw in the remark "threat of violence" whilst talking about the ceasefire protests. Putting aside the fact that calling for a ceasefire is the opposite of calling for violence it's complete bollox anyway. Apart from a handful of dickheads the vast majority of the hundreds of thousands of protesters who have taken part, have done so legally and peacefully. NOBODY in the media ever points this out.
