If Wba beat S/land And Cov can Get anything at Norwich and we can reproduce our away form against Preston in the next set of games we could put some real daylight between the teams below us chasing 5th or 6th.
I did look at that way but i looked at the remaining fixture list and i can't see Wba not being in the play offs so i would rather have the daylight between us as much as we could.
Whoosh....What evidence to you have that anyone posting on twitter was at the game? Because they said so? I was at the game, and I have a ticket stub to prove it, the atmosphere was great to start with, with periods of quiet reflection, no different to any other games, and the Albion fans could be heard late in the second half. Its not an issue. If Tan Kesler wants wall to wall noise for 90 odd minutes he should issue us all with megaphones and maybe get that annoying DJ to continue he 'set' whilst the game is on?
There does seem to be a bit of a thing with people pretending to be at games to criticise and devalue our crowd and atmosphere. Maybe undercover FC fans?
Anyway it’s Norwich v Sunderland next. WBA don’t play Sunderland until mid-April by which time Sunderland will have played Norwich, Leicester, Southampton and Leeds so probably well out of it.
That has been known to happen, believe it or not. Bit like crowd trouble in rugby league. 'It was Hull City fans with nothing to do on a Sunday ( insert the day of the trouble) afternoon'........Must be true because I've read stuff like that in the HDM.
I'd compliment him on intrinsically linking the use of plastic throughout his post... Holden,Minogue and the credit card necessary to make purchases nowadays all contain copious amounts of it.
No whoosh, the person I posted from was at the game, and goes to every game. There were plenty of other tweets I could have posted too.
They're all my Aussie mates trying to undermine the valiant efforts of the boisterous matchgoers. Get them to tweet out every week criticising you noisy lot so that I can post about it on here.
We are attracting a lot of new and different fans these days , saw some yesterday who had obviously never been to a game before , big family groups. Having crowds of 20 k plus doesn't mean they make twice the noise of when we were getting about 10 k fairly recently
Always maintained City’s vocal support reflects on how the team are playing and how important that game is which is probably the norm at many grounds these days . Looking back Remember that play off first leg game against Orient at the old fer ark when Jon Ayre scored..f’kin hell I swear my feet didn’t touch the terracing for 5 mins after that goal and our kid lost a tooth as he bounced off a barrier. The noise in the Kempton was deafening that day as it was as before during and after the game. As for the MKM.. It’s bound to be a tad more placid these days with all seater grounds as fans are more scattered but given the right circumstances City’s crowd at the new stadium can still make some noise alright as it was when we finally lost those old shackles after years of underachievement on our historic rise up the league’s to the Prem proved. UTT.
My point being, if everyone continues their form over the season until May - we’ll be 6th Hell, if we continue this months form - we’ll probably be 5th. So I’m not sure much needs changing? We’ll never win every game. It’s more important to keep our heads when we don’t win - that’ll be the difference between the play offs and not
