We're dreadful....they've built a side devoid of any pace in midfield or defence and they've refused to move on from the dross.

Next season will be no different because the dross will stay and they'll replace the sought after players with plodders like Philips and Maguire.. some **** like that ...you know the type.

If the club doesn't get this manager out before this summer I honestly think the clubs heading for another relegation battle and years of struggle to put it out... we're dreadful.

Really pretty sad that you enjoy your team losing so much.

I don’t think it is that bad mate. We are mid table top half.

Arsenal destroyed us. They played well and we play poor.

As long as Howe identifies the problems and fixing them we will be fine.

Folders mate the banter is coming from you guys aswel. If Newcastle do anything in that game you'd all be taking the piss out us #bedwetters.

The truth is we can read the game and the situation.

Let's not bicker anymore mate....let people have their views or we can continue enjoying it all tbh I don't mind either way.... you're all sound man it's all good.

I do I've thought this for months... Arsenal OK I knew this was a scratch it off game, but Bournemouth and Luton played Newcastle of the pitch and that's poor.

This huff and puff style Howe employed ? Intensity is our identity? I don't see any intensity whatsoever.... at best it's slowly passing around until they make a mistake and then the other side almost scores in 3 passes.

We're crap mate.... I hate having to say it but this side will lose more and more and then people might stop bullshitting themselves and me and perhaps start agreeing.

This is going to start getting nasty now I've seen this before.....these players are defeated.... not even fighting ,look confused and are all moaning and waving their hands at eachother... meanwhile Howe kneels down making notes on scrap paper looking anguished.

Arsenal's players are revved up nasty little ****ers complaining and crying for every decision on top of the fact they're better players... Newcastle are just out there to get beat looking like mincy little wimps... they look dreadful.

    Where is this managers fight?

The foul count was interesting yesterday. Usually the worse team has more fouls as they try to win the ball back etc. we committed 6 fouls.

Thats very low and proves the mentality of the players. We just rolled over and accepted it.

Funnily enough i thought the same ..I mean ffs at least foul the ****ers, but I think we're so bad they were never even close enough to foul them.

This manager has build a side devoid of pace in the entire midfield and defence. It's a recipe for disaster in this league.

My opinion is and has been for a couple of months now is that we're entering the last few months of Howe's reign and I don't expect it to get better ... they might beat Blackburn but Wolves at home is when people wake up.......tbh more and more are beginning to realise what they are watching.

Bruno can’t be himself at the moment because he is one booking away from a suspension. That means he isn’t putting his foot in.

Longstaff was virtually anonymous yesterday. I don’t recall him touching the ball.

Miley has so much potential and I can’t really say he’s played bad or good.

But the 4-3-3 that we deployed every single game is easy to play against.

No defensive cover. We have conceded the most goals in the league this year.

The thing is Bruno isn't the fastest player he needs a little time on the ball , but because the others around him in midfield are plodders aswel he gets none.. essentially other players around him have to create space and time for him because he can't... it's his flaw ... he's slow.

Newcastle are devoid of pace right across the midfield and backline usually.. Livramento the only exception.

The other teams can just swamp the midfield with quick players and there is nothing we can do.... or they can let us have the ball, sit deep and when we **** up one short pass through the midfield and they're running at our back 4.

It's an absolutely dreadful set up.

    No
problem people having views. Any views.

The irritating things for me are the constant repetition of the same view numerous times per thread page and the extreme reactions to a situation. Believe it or not most posters don’t need to read that we were playing poorly or that a particular poster thinks EH should be sacked 4 or 5 times out of 20 posts on a thread page, they can realise what that poster thinks from the first post. Yes, that’s a reference to GG.

The lack of perspective and context also irritates me. We are 8th in the PL. we are not rubbish. We may not be playing well but that doesn’t make the squad rubbish. We may have in recent years spent some money but most of the teams above us have spent more in the same time span and were starting from a better squad position. Over the season we have had more player days lost than just about every other team. From your point of view Longstaff would be a 10 minute player at the end of the game if Tonali, Willock and Joelinton or even 2 of them had been available but it’s EH’s fault for playing him. No perspective and no context.

That being said anybody can post what they want (site rules allowing) as far as I am concerned but then so can I.

There you go again. You can express your view but as I disagree I can’t. Double standards, mate.

<laugh> Howe has built a slow midfield? <laugh><laugh><laugh>

This is our last resort midfield 3.

Willock, Tonali and Joelinton all missing.

EHs midfield 3 is Joelinton, Bruno and Tonali
My midfield 3 would be Willock, Bruno and Tonali.

My main issue was bringing back Botman when he’s clearly needing that operation. Let’s just hope that decision to delay the operation doesn’t **** him up as a player long term.

We have too many players that look like they are playing with injuries. I assume this is why we got rid of that bloke in charge of medical?!

White isn't slow.... he's picking the side aware of this pace issue and doing nothing. He doesn't even try anything.

What's on his notepad ? We need Phillips?

Howe is dreadful and this is the beginning of his demise for sure. Blaming the first aid man is insane.

How rude bringing me to the argument. Kidding I don’t mind.

EH is the manager and as such he is responsible for everything. Good or bad.

We have lost as many as we won this season in the league.

White has been playing league 2 football and you would crucify EH if he played White and he ****ed up. In terms of pace, White isn’t all that.

What realistically do you expect EH to pick as a midfield 3? Bruno and which 2?
