it will still chip in at the end of the season if he's got about 10 goals I reckon we can shift him on. he hasn't got the fight imo
for various reasons saw quite a bit of the QPR he was part of and can confirm he was a fun watch in every sense
How did Slabhead not get a red card for his late studs on the ankle tackle on the Fulham player? https://x.com/md_fpl/status/1761434949515698460?s=46
the thing about thst original comment is that is smacked of pandering the the crowd and no little bit of desperation. man utd fans take great consolation in running down city and reminding everyone of 20. they are still on their perch. it's tantamount to admitting they've fallen so hard in 10 years that they are back to a shambles like the mid 1980s. anyway, we will see what the rules allow and don't allow shortly. chelesa should be in the doldrums for years and years after gross over spending puts a huge drag on their club scope to buy talent. utd have made a series of awful.blunders over years and have limited scope after buying the crap tin hat wanted. let's see what they can do
Everton appeal for them 4 points back. Now only 6 point deduction rather than 10. Feel the Prem need to right down how these points are done. Feel like should be somethjng like automatic 3 point deduction for failing ffp plus a further point for every 2m over? Or something where can actually measure rather than picking a random number. See if they and forest get more points deducted
I agree. It should be spelled out. 0 losses over 3 year = 0 -15 to -105 mil losses = owners have to make up. (i don't agree with this. if they are in effect allows a constant -105mil then eventually the club folds) Every 5mil over -105 = 2 points? Everton were over 25mil over and ended up with 6 points. I think there should be a transfer ban as well. Go to administration -15points (seem the usual)
The PL has already said that they don't want to state what the sanctions will be because it could encourage some clubs to risk it knowing that they could cope with the punishment.
people have have missed this in the Everton decision today but there is a massive massive ramification for city. It said the commission was "wrong" to punish Everton for being "less than frank" over what it told the Premier League about its new stadium debt. this is carte blanched to city to shrug at most of the charges levied against them. apparently in legal terms you cannot punish them for not cooperating? or is less than Frank being different to active non cooperation? they also said The appeal board also said the commission was "wrong not to take into account available benchmarks" and that a six-point sanction was "broadly in line" with English Football League guidelines.
I've not seen the full wording, but it seems the PL never claimed that the wrong stadium figures were anything other than an innocent mistake, which would presumably be different to Man City who have seemed to be deliberately non-cooperative.
I think there were rumours that that something similar was applied by the PL, something like 5 pts basic deduction plus an extra 1pt per 1m over the Limit or something.
given Everton were 21 mil over that out them at 5 plus 1 per every 4mil over or so. it has to have a sliding scale as a team who can get 80 points will absolutely shrug at 5 points deduction. transfer bans need to come in.

maybe need to do the same with red cards. don’t specific how many game ban will be and just pick a number. for clarity it needs to be there. My numbers were just made up but in that case make the punishments enough that it’s a deterrent then. Each year you break it the punishment doubles as well and stays on record for period of 6 years. If you hit X amount of point deduction then further punishment. Similar to points on license.
the current tules are **** anyway. they in effect say you can lose 36mil every single year with no issue as long as your owner makes it up or commits to I should say. 10 years later that club has 360mil debts. thats not a sustainable business. the intent was a club could have a bad year and make it up but that's now what goes on. the big clubs will never see -36 as a big deal.
