I hated Stoke anyway, Neil was just the cherry on top Now I want their owners to go down after all their underhand shenanigans ... ... stealing one manager is sly, stealing two is despicable.
I want us to play Hemir and Rusyn up top next game, press from the front and get in their faces. Far too lethargic and weak in that first half. Gives us another player in the box because we don't half bloody need one. The whole team needs to press from kickoff and stop letting themselves be bullied. If they tire later that's what subs are for.
Rusyn was the one forward player trying to make things work up front, chasing loose balls and tracking back while Jobe and Ba strolled around the pitch… but he was the first one subbed. Made absolutely no sense.
I've told you lot it's part of a sales plan forget the model, it's Speakmans job to make KLD money, the KLD will sell, sooner than most think.
Always seems to be the case with Rusyn, grafts, presses, looks to be our only goal threat and gets subbed off. It looks like Hemir has turned a corner mentality wise, he was chasing everything down like a good un.
Ray Wilkins has passed RIP. His reincarnation is in our midfield never seen a player pass sideways and backwards as many times since Ray. DN loses possession and goes backwards more than any player at SAFC terrible
Buying a football club is an odd way to try and make money, especially when you're already a billionaire.
For the last few games I was thinking it’s typical Sunderland luck when it seemed that every loose ball went to an opposition player. I now think I got it the wrong way round and it should read that the opposition players got to every loose ball.
So very poor today. Worst of the season, possibly even the last 2. Second reaction was a bit half hearted I thought. No real style or tactical superiority. The season has unravelled so very quickly. The squad has always looked weaker but to regress in performances and appetite has been a shock. We are a side in reverse right now and dont look like we know how to change gear. Sad to say but the starting formation was poor. Not sure why Dodds thought we had the players for that. We gave territory to Swansea. Coaches work in groups, always. I have real doubts about this group and in particular whether they have it in them to lead and demand. Feela like the most critical point in KLDs reign right now. Not summer, now. We could easily find ourselves finishing down in 15th. Not only would we lose Clarke and Neil, chances are other players will look at it and want away if we are that far off promotion places. Then, more importantly, we arent getting the cream of the crop in the summer window. If the ambition is the premier league next season, waiting to the summer for a new coach is unacceptable. Time to act now. Money is no excuse, if there is a man they want go and do it. And for crying out loud let them bring their own coaching TEAM! The alarm bells are sounding loud and clear.
First half it looked like they'd hardly played together before. Second half better, but by then the game was pretty much gone. Credit to Swansea they were well organised and did a job on us.
If I'm honest, I don't blame him one bit. The abuse he's been getting from some is completely unacceptable. Some of our fans have short memories.
