Must admit I looked myself about 15 minutes ago and it was 14 points. With 12 games to go. Norwich and Leicester next two games. It's unfortunately an all too often scenario after years following Sunderland and one I'd hoped had been put to bed lately .
Just my opinion,but perhaps the next coach/manager should be able to bring in their own backroom team, because the built in one at our place seems to be the one constant. Keep sacking managers all they want, they're just the face. Just my opinion like.
We've already got enough points to stay up in 4 or the last 5 seasons. In the 5th season, 49 points would have done it - so 2 more points in 12 games. The scenario of a season where relegation is a possibility is very much in your head. Even in our bad run of form that we're currently on, we're about 15the in the form table - there's 9 teams doing worse than us who are already in worse positions.
