I can see a lot of our players arguing about who has responsibility and then we score from a corner in Knight. Jekyll and Hyde comes to mind but which will we be for the rest of the match?
The pull back on Mehmeti could easily have been a red card rather than a yellow but we made nothing of a well positioned free kick.
Sloppy play from Dickie gets him a yellow and I notice that Mehmeti is getting a bollocking from several players and yet again he gives away the ball all too easily.
Vyner should have been better for their 1st goal, great header from Knight for our goal, Sykes has been ordinary and..........wtf is Mehmeti all about ?
We are awful, we don’t seem interested, Pring isn’t fit. Deserve to be behind. Need a rocket at halftime. Not good enough.
We have given away a second goal right on half-time with shocking defensive tackling. Most of our passing is atrocious particularly in the 2 most important part of the game which are around their penalty area and in our defence which just fell apart. We are getting what we deserve based on our pathetic display of how not to play football. Liam needs to earn his money and get the players back on track to how we know we can play but I'm not so sure anymore whether or not he is up to the required standard and his moves from the bench will show if he's up to the task. Do we make it a habit to sign players who can't stay off the treatment table because our annual loss of key assets is deplorable?
Well that was a struggle. Energy levels look way down compared to what we had against Southampton.. Pitch doesn’t help but our players have become predictable. Pring and Sykes should be doing better.. Vyner should have done much better for their first.. Great header from Knight of which we should have kicked on.. overall very disappointing
Bit harsh on Zak, Pring got done on the left and he couldn’t get close enough, but got closer than Dickie who was totally out of position as well. A poor header from Knight in the lead up to their second, I fell Zak could have reacted slightly quicker, but a well taken goal.
Maybe I will get grief over this but I always thought that a new manager/coach is brought in to change the team's fortunes but I now see more confusion in what we trying to do with players who quite frankly are not up to the job in hand. There were signs of change in style but so fleeting as to not be a good look into the future but here we go again with a team that looks totally disorganized and unable of stringing more than 2 or 3 passes together when we need them to regain control. In all honesty I see a leader who is out of his depth on his tactics and man management skills and any new threat he intended has been found out by our competitors. Perhaps his players have lost faith in his ability to turn around our fortunes because they look lost way too often and if the commentary on the game is any indication then there are different views coming from the bench player behind the microphone.
