As far as I know, Jota and Trent have knee collateral ligament injuries, one medial and one lateral. Presumably these are partial tears and both should be back in two months
we will see. we are only gonna miss jota. soz trent but with everyone else fit and less inverted or ingrown full backs I think we will be OK.
I think most of us are more confident after losing Trent after the emergence of Conor Bradley. Losing Trent prior to CB was a nightmare scenario
I'd say prior to gomez playing really well at rb then lb. we are doing well there. nobody is saying trent isn't a great player on the ball bit we have options l. we need szobo and salah more right now. even alisson is covered for the types of games we have bar city.
just a touch unfair there. he's got his rythmn now so he'd be alright. if Bradley can play well on the front foot he'd be the first choice with gomez to come on after for me.
