Hull City 1-3 West Bromwich Albion

 

Puts them 2 points behind us but gives us the opportunity to go 5 points clear of 7th tomorrow… that would be huge

 

Preston are on some form mind and we play them after West Brom.. gulp.

 

Thing with Preston they do concede a few to I was more worried about Coventry than Preston.

 

Yeah Cov more of a concern to me too, any points they drop is good.

 

They do, but they score a lot as well! Won't be an easy game that's for sure.

 

Would rather a side like that, they come out at us leaving space behind like Southampton.

 

They obviously still concede more than they score though.

 

A bit skewed by three outlier results in 1-5 at home to Watford, 0-4 at home to WBA and 4-0 away to Boro, but fair.

 

They've conceded 10 more than us, that's a bit more than an outlier given we've also had a few leaky games.

 

Preston are a different proposition entirely with Riis fit and firing.

Key to the way they play. Bit like Delap but more so. Whiteman is a baller too.

 

They went 2-0 down to Blackburn just last weekend. Think they're still pretty vulnerable.

 

Got a good team on the whole. Alan Browne always plays well against us too.
