in a behind closed doors friendly, according to NB at today's press conference.

Potential for James Harper to leave on loan to Charlton but NB was leaving that to Adam Pearson. "It's possible," NB said.

You got me excited then, I suppose it should have been obvious you meant the rezies.

Good news on the whole though, a bit more depth. It's just a shame about this 5 subs rule. I would imagine this leaves Pusic with a very slim chance of making the side, with Garcia being a firmer choice for our winger-but-striker-if-needed.

Oh it was going so well until you mentioned Garcia as striker if needed.

<laugh> He might not be great up front, but if we had to pick a midfielder to play there, who would you suggest? McKenna?

And anyway, what I meant was, with only 5 subs available, you need versatile players. Ie rather than having two strikers taking up our bench, we need to have variety, ie Garcia as a substitute right winger, but also available to shove forward in the last 5 minutes if we need a goal.

I've never realised how much I use 'ie' <laugh>

Cameron Stewart is "said" to be a striker as well as winger, so that gives us some "on the field" flexibility.

How might our midfield/front line look in January assuming we loose Brady and Waghorn? Also assuming the current players stay fit and Olofinjana, Garcia and Pusic are available. Maybe interesting to see hows Barmby works if he wants to try to improve fluidity in those areas, and how he and the team respond to results in the intervening games.

Why do we have so many pricks who think it's funny to name threads **** like "MAN CATCHES RAINBOW-SPOTTED MOON DRAGON IN TESCO", only for the content to be about the colour of Jack Hobbs' boots or possible names for Chris Chilton's cat. Stop misleading us you ****ing ****s <grr>

It will be the one on Hall Road, they don't stock Moon Dragons in their smaller stores.

That's a better point than mine <laugh> I didn't think of Stewart. Although if we literally had no strikers I would still choose Garcia, playing a midget alone up front is usually hopeless.

I wouldn't take my last comment too seriously, but I feel compelled to point out that the word 'rainbow' has more than just one definition. :)

He told me he was from the moon and he may not be spotty, but you can quite clearly see he's got a bit of a rash.

i would expect james harper to be gone one way or another by the end of jan. good news on the injuries.

waggy can not play against lesta regardless so i expect him to be ready for the Birmingham game on the 7th dec.
