Pretty sure he's in the UK pal, was sentenced in his absence. The club has said why the appeal process goes on he's still available for selection !

You may be right, HB. But this is at the end of the Evening Standard report:

"Het Nieuwsblad report that Chair denied he was the man who threw the rock and asked for an acquittal.

They add that on Friday morning he came to court for the verdict himself, with a new lawyer, and asked to reopen the debates. The request was said to have been rejected by the court."

Varying reports then pal, none of which make pretty reading. Whatever the truth is its bad news for us

Surely we can't pick him till his appeal has been heard?

I agree with the sentiment, but he has been found guilty.

It must’ve been an extremely short lorry driver for Chair to have cracked his nut with a rock.

Also, very unlike Chair to deliver one so accurately to a head. I’d have hoped his defence would be showing the jury some of his balls into the box.

Someone may get in who can pass the ball sometimes and score more than 4 goals from 80 shots from the same sq yard of turf.

Quite. Only if Chair's rock had flown over the road and smashed a house window two blocks down, would it be conclusive proof that Chair had aimed at the bloke's head.

Unless multiple reports are wrong, he's allegedly been found guilty and sentenced to a year inside.

Brief reports I've read is that it was a melee. Might have been trying to protect his lid or the Mrs? Picked on because he was small? He says mistaken identity. Guilty isn't the full story though the one with the most serious consequence.

Yes and I hope you're right.
However, I still don't see how we can play him, plus surely his head will be all over the place?
