But it looks very much like we'll be in Europe again and even if we're not I point at the spending at Chelsea & Spurs as an example of calibre of player/amount spent when both clubs had NO Europe. Even Liverpool weren't in the CL yet over the Summer replaced an entire midfield. Granted their starting point is far higher, but we'll catch up.

That was the aim. Looked tough but possibly achievable, which is probably one of the driving forces to this reworking of FFP rules. They already closed the door, now they'll attempt to weld it shut.
