The Tories are complaining about multiple Ofcom investigations into GBNews bias.

Huh? The whole purpose of GBeebies is to be biased in favour of the Tories, everybody knows that.

Ofcom, as with all the so-called watchdogs, is utterly toothless anyway. Ofwat anybody?

I was always disappointed that when the Milk Marketing Board was dissolved the regulator that was put in place wasn't called Ofmilk.

You believe a senior manager of the PO, considering what's come to light over Horizon? <doh>

He was only appointed chair of the Post Office in 2022. He wasn't involved in the Horizon cover up.

They're still covering it up as best they can. His performance in front of the select committee was horrendous.
You'd believe anyone over a Tory, so this is a waste of time.

Yeah, it counters the BBC's known left wing bias

I got to agree with this.
The Tory party loaded the Party with people who agreed in principle with Johnsons views, and his Brexit values. A lot of the old guard Tories were got rid of.

Don't get me wrong, I do not hold old Tory economics values, but they knew what they were doing ( from their point if view). They were careful with the economy, they had values about community and about the truth.

Boris bought in a culture of lies, spin and a considerable lack of forethought and intellectual decision making. That is still there.

If the Tories do lose, they need to get themselves sorted out. A government is only as good as their opposition. Starmer will be a much better PM if he has a Tory party challenging him.

( Yes a bad Labour opposition is one reason Boris was allowed to run wild)

The continual abuse of MP's, presently mostly from the Hard Left and Islamists, that includes regular death threats and even a large number of activists intimidating an MP's family outside his house, is sinister. Who, with any ability, would choose to become an MP in the face of such threats, bearing in mind the murder of MPs in the recent past?

It was the 2008 financial crisis under Labour that caused the Tories and LibDems to replace Gordon Brown and attempt to pay off the debts left. Remember Labour's note on leaving? "There's no money left"?

    How's that a lot better?

So the global financial crash was caused by Gordon Brown according to you. <laugh>

Liz Truss managed to cause more damage to the UK economy all on her own.

How has paying off the debt gone? We must have made quite a bit of inroad in 14 years.

Covid was global, but according to Labour activists, it was all Boris Johnson's fault. Labour spent everything so it wasn't prepared for the crisis. The UK economy is now in a better shape than Germany and France.

Bollox about Truss. It was short lived

Covid and furlough caused massive problems across the world. Have you looked at the state of Germany recently?

I don't live in Germany. Wasn't the financial crisis global also? The Truss era is still effecting hundreds of thousands today in stupid mortgage rises. I know that first hand.

Remainers have been dying to point out how badly the UK economy is doing post Brexit. The fact that major EU economies are doing worse has shut them up. Comparisons are important though, to get UK government performance in perspective.

Inflation has been high worldwide. The Truss debacle is not having effect now.

This government has outlived its usefulness. 14 years is way long enough. But don't kid yourself that a free spending Labour government couldn't make things worse. Have a look at how badly Labour is running the NHS in Wales. Doesn't bode well

The Truss debacle is still having effect now!! My mortgage payments are evidence of that!
Things might not be better under labour, but they certainly can't be any worse. Bring on the election. It's with the help of people like yourself that we will finally oust this corrupt lot.
