So what exactly was stopping Howe from watching Isak, Bruno and Botman before he came here? I agree probably ( that’s me guessing based on logic ) most players are scouted for a long time before being signed but it’s not obligatory. Who scouted who, we don’t know (that’s a fact ). You have consistently said that EH likes/wants English plodders only or mainly ( pure guesswork on your part with no evidence or facts in any close proximity). I standby what I've said and I personally don't think Howe spent his time scouting the players Newcastle had been following while he was unemployed. Interestingly enough the Newcastle fans are saying Ashworth hasn't had involvement in some key signing for the same reason.. he wasn't here or here long enough ! Remember. Howe imo shouldn't be getting a say in transfers unless he knows the player personally or he's watched them over years.
Again, I haven’t said that about Ashworth. On Howe watching players given what he was doing in his sabbatical would more than likely be watching all the young and upcoming players. He’d hardly turn up to a new job interview saying “what’s up, mate” would he? And nobody knows if Newcastle had been watching those players or not or who we had been watching. Also dig out the screenshots, I don’t care.
I never said you did you joined in after I mentioned that. Watching players and your profession being to watch them all over the world are not the same. Ultimately that's all irrelevant because my point is very clear and that is that Newcastle will have been watching those players long before Howe arrived and some don't seem understand that .. it seems far out to them, but it's true. The problem is that you are committing the same mistake that you are accusing others of. You have no evidence at all as to who scouted and for how long any of Bruno, Botman and Isak. You’re making assumptions. The last comment was simply to show I had nothing to hide. No change in my stance. I’ll relax at the weekend when England have hammered the Scots at rugby, are stomping the Indians at cricket and we’ve hammered the Arse at football.
It's not an assumption mate I don't need evidence I just know clubs scout players for years not weeks or months. It's common knowledge I'm actually surprised people don't know this. Anyway it doesn't matter we just need to hope Howe isn't given too big a say and that's my opinion.. everyone else is welcome to theirs.
