    Morning All,

Coming back up to my birthplace and getting to the match on Saturday. My son is desperate to get a photo with the players. Is it best to get there before the match or hang around afterwards.

Also I have heard that the fans museum is fantastic, would love to take a look around there. Would that be best to go there on Friday rather than match day?

    3-1 to the lads….

    Thanks in advance.

I would suggest you go before and if you miss out, then go after (sage advice there folks). I’ve only ever been in the Fans Museum on a Saturday, so couldn’t possibly comment other than I love it before the match. That said, I’m in there for just after 12

My advice would be to get outside the entrance before the match for photos....most players arrive early enough and are happy to give some time to it.
Fans museum is fab,but gets busy on Saturday....get there early and you should get the chance for a good look around.

Have a great day mate, hope you see a win.

Before the game would be best imo, afterwards might be an anticlimax for your lad. Talk to the 'bouncers' who look after that area, decent blokes in my experience, they'll help.

    Ha'way the Lads.

I would take the advice from all those who attend games more than me (not difficult) but cousin and his daughter went after game and the players had all the time in the world for them. Then your not missing any pre match activities either.

You might well have already bought tickets, but if you haven't I've got a couple of spares for this one that you can have if you'd like them :emoticon-0148-yes:

Gordon that is a wonderful gesture. But I have already brought 4 tickets for my lot. Much appreciated though <ale><ale>

Many thanks to all comments so far, we get up there on Friday so may do the club shop (if open) and the fans museum then.

For a 3pm KO they usually tweet the pics of the players arriving at about 1330 so I'd probs get there for about 1245.

A few of the bairns footy team lads have gone down for pics and autographs and all have said our lads are spot on when they arrive.

Hope you had a good day mate and enjoyed yourselves despite the result ...

... at least you got to see us score, that went through my mind towards the end.

Was just about to bump this one. I hope you had a good day and got your lad a few autographs and pictures. Results aren't everything, memories with your lad are what really matters. <cheers>

Cheers Smug. We had an unbelievable day out, the fans museum was amazing. He got most of the players except Ballard, Clarke and Patto. The players were all spot on. We'll be up again very soon. Spent £250 in the club shop, my daughter looked like Tony Pulis with all the merchandise she was wearing. And lastly, to you forum members, you are all an amazing bunch. Ha'way the lads

I have already discussed with the boy about our next home game probably in a months time. Jobe.PNG Ekwah.PNG Family.PNG Neil.PNG Riggy.PNG Seelt.PNG SoL.PNG Styles.PNG

Use the 'upload a file' option on the post. They have to be relatively small file size though. The whole post has to be less than 2mb iirc. You may need to screenshot the photos to get the file size down.
