Certainly increased the dislike but think fans weren't keen on Hdogson before that - calling him a "cnut" I remember! Probably the same younger ones who just seem to abuse whoever they like each game including other fans. I think that Palace game was basically all bar the last game but that incident didn't help - we'd also just been officially relegated after that match too. Mind you I doubt our fans would have given him a big cheer back had he clapped them! Probably didn't want to be seen walking away - much like now to an extent until he got unwell and they seemed set to sack him anyway.
Another ex Watford manager out of a job. https://www.tntsports.co.uk/footbal...elona-champions-leagu_sto10031022/story.shtml
A bigger surprise would be that he was given the job in the first place. Was he sacked because he couldn't speak Italian?
Very sad to hear that Gerard Deulofeu’s career could be over due to a knee injury - he hasn’t played in over a year. "You can’t imagine what I’m going through. I’m trying everything to come back, but I’ve accepted the idea that I could also not play again.”
Which one? He copped a few playing for us. Might also explain why he couldn't wait to get away when we were relegated - fear of the Championship cloggers...
I see that Ray Lewington has resigned from his coaching role at Crystal Palace - and has probably retired from football completely. Can't see him doing a Woy and carrying on for another 8 years or so...
Virgil Van Dyke when we beat them 3-0 Van Dyke knew exactly what he was doing., her may not have intended to end his career, but he intended to put him out of that game Karma came the next season when Pickford took him out in a game and his missed most of the season
"I had an injury in 2020, my knee was very traumatised, but I managed to recover. I then suffered another injury, for a third time and there were complications." (Gerard Deulofeu quoted in London World)
He always seems a genuinely nice guy on Twitter and all his old teams like him and ask him back which shows you something of the man and his game.
Flipping heck - apparently Rey Manaj's current club in Turkey, Sivasspor, is about to receive a £10m bid for him from Besiktas. It seems he has scored 18 goals in 26 appearances since joining Sivasspor last summer...
Think I saw him twice and he got injured on both occasions. Maybe he might have done this for us had he been fit...
