6 goals ahead of city on GD now... Only 2 ahead of Arsenal. For Arsenal to close 5 points that requires winning twice when we don't... so they're almost certainly ahead of us on GD *IF* they close the points too. We need more high-scoring games to build a cushion. With three going for the title, GD could be the difference come end of season.
Tbf I was agreeing with you. I didn't see where a goal was coming from at HT. As both we and Arsenal have proven this season though, set pieces are so important against these low block sides to unlock the door.
We should never doubt this team after 1 half. Klopps ability to get a performance out of them after HT this season has been incredible. Never out of the game despite missing a whole 11 of first teamers.
Like Man City, they have a game-in-hand so only once when we don't (but they do (both teams) need to win that other game, obviously)

4-1 With no; Ali, Konate, Trent, Jones, Szboszlai, Salah, Jota nor Nuñez Klopp leaves us with such an amazing squad and many academy players already gaining experience. Conversely though, how do you keep such a good squad all happy without such a great man-manager like Klopp?
it's not just klopp it's the academy staff who have worked for 5 or 6 years to sign players and bring them on. there's plenty of games to go round with loads of extra European games next season. elite squads are only going to get bigger. imo

You ensure you win games. People don’t kick up as much of a fuss if they start 15 games and come on a sub in 20 while winning a couple of trophies a year.
