Perfect scenario here. We were heavily linked with going in for Jean Claire-Todibo from Nice in the summer. Obviously there's been a public tapping of Ashworth, for Christ sake he flew in for an International scouting meeting on Friday with all the scouts called to base (same day Ratcliffe took over his 25%) and by the Saturday told the club he wanted to leave. Now we just say give us Todibo from Nice and have Ashworth and if any of our targets so much as get mentioned in the same breath as Man Utd we do them for illegal tapping up.
