What a load of ****e, as are the various other suggestions like parents wanting the diagnosis so they can claim DLA.
It’s really quite simple, better understanding of the condition and more provision for diagnosis and treatment.

Made me smile, I mean, what else can it hit...:emoticon-0100-smile

The spacecraft, called ERS-2, was launched back in 1995 - but is due to hit either land or sea before 5.30pm today, according to the European Space Agency.

I was one of those twats at school and my late Father regularly reminded me of it :emoticon-0148-yes:

I have a 6 year old Grandson who is a little twat(He can be hilarious at times due to his errant language and having absolutely no filter) but he's a rum lad for sure!!

My Daughter has never tried to identify just exactly what causes his behaviour through her GP or otherwise, because in her words she just doesn't want to pigeon hole or categorise him,but he clearly has symptoms of ADHD,Autism and Tourettes.

I just think he's a lovable but manageable little twat with the language of an adult Glaswegian:emoticon-0104-surpr

As bad as the police spokesman who said when they were looking for that scumbag who threw corrosive liquid on his partner and kids. “ He could have gone north, south, east or west. Or maybe abroad.”

Completely different symptoms/situation, but we held off for a few years with my son, who has a form of dyslexia, seeing if we could manage it 'in house' (his mother was studying for a PhD, so had spare time to try and make up the difference). But by the time he was 9, he was falling behind at school, so needed the extra support on offer to those with a diagnosis. That was 15 years ago, so I probably wouldn't have waited so long nowadays.

    I totally understand that:emoticon-0148-yes:

I think my Daughter has a similar mindset in that she maybe wants to see where this is going and if she can control it in-house? Obviously as he grows up and if alarm bells started ringing, she's a sensible lass and smart enough to be able to recognise anything more worrying.

Funnily enough,if my wife(who adores all the Grandkids in her own special way) is watching him,he's exceptionally well behaved normally. She seems to have a very unique way of nurturing him which I don't possess, her late Mother was gifted in a similar fashion which has reflected favourably in all my 4 children's behaviour and respect for other people.

I guess some people are far better at understanding children than others,I wasn't a bad Father but I had far less patience than my wife in a good cop/bad cop kind of way.

We brought our kids up with no tech on the dinner table from day one. I pisses me off when a family will turn up in a restaurant or cafe and sit the kids with a phone or table propped up in front of them blasting out some stupid sounding war game or such like ****e. Much like kids turning up at school not potty trained or unable to use a knife and fork.

The other thing I see on TV programs now is kids in class kicking off with the teachers and it gets blamed on a label kid, it hardly ever happened when I was at school cos we got the cane, seems like cos teachers have no deterrent kids know this and do as they like.
And if you did get the cane or detention you got a whack off your parents, now those same parents go to school and attack the teachers for daring to tell their angels off.

You dont need to be violent towards children, mate - there's different ways to teach them now and they won't grow up hating you for it.
