I watched a bit of the u19 one day world cup over the last few weeks and it's a production line for India. Not saying they will turn to that age group but there's a few that will be breaking through soon. Jaiswal was the one from their last young squad
I heard someone saying that they basically have too many amazing players and just have 50 in an international pot all the time and then stick with them and enough come good in the end. Stops having to worry about form or the next big thing appearing out of nowhere. Sure there will be a bit of flex, as folk I have on ignore would say, if a Tendulkar or Bumrah turned up but otherwise it's ridiculous the talent they have, too many riches!
Right in the balance this, great game! No wickets for next 45 and India will start ****ting themselves, couple of quick wickets and England in poor shape, loving it!
I love Ducketts comments after the days play. When asked what total England could chase he said the more the better! He said whatever they set we will get.
I think this has been a great series for a few of our players including Foakes and Duckett but I think 100% Bairstow should be dropped after this series. He's lost it with the bat and Foakes is the best keeper around so he isn't needed there either.
This surely has to be the final series for Bairstow. Been a shadow of his former self since injury and Brook will slot straight back in at 5 for the summer series.
Without wanting to sound disrespectful, and I don't know the full story but it was announced that Kholis wife has just given birth. Footy players seem to crack on and make a mad dash to make KO. Am I missing something for him to miss the series so far?
Maybe the pregnancy/birth had complications. I've been there myself twice. It can be all encompassing
