Surely Eddie has to drop Burn now?

I really, really don't see how we can justifying continuing to play burn at LB.

Maybe Livramento has issues in the background but Burn is being involved in far too many goals conceded at the moment so whatever negative comes with him being removed from the team is probably worth it.

Burn is continuously being targeted by teams so much it's not even funny, and it's that left side on the outside of burn or in between burn and botman where we have no real pace that's being exploited so ****ing badly and we look like conceding so many chances down that side.

Livramento immediately makes impact when he comes on and covers his runner so much better than Burn.

Playing Burn vs Saka is basically suicide.

I doubt he would be able to pick him up in the first place tbh, he's a big lad.

I reckon we'll go 5 at the back, so probably won't drop Burn, but won't play LB.

Trippier and Livramento as wing backs

Eddie Howe has no ruthlessness. He was, is and always will be a "play yourself into form" manager.

If he puts in Livramento now, away to Arsenal, I'll be unhappy.

Throwing him to the ****ing wolves, smacks of him supporting his big buddy Burn

Eddie is a nice natured pussy. He doesn’t want to let people down. Imagine Simeone or someone acting like that? Got to be ruthless.

Anyone and their dog can see Burn isn’t good enough to play regularly for us and especially not at LB.

It must be a background issue as Tino has been quality everytime he’s played, is truly one of the worlds current mysteries.

Wasn’t Burn v Saka called suicide just before the game at St. James where Arsenal didn’t get a shot on target?

At the time we had pretty much everyone fit including joelinton.

Miley, as much as I like him, leaves a defensive hole in our midfield. He's got no pace and not much defensive quality, but he's class on the ball though in terms of dribbling and passing.

Howe will stick by Burn all season and next until he's fired

If we don't buy a left back I'll be actually astonished.

    Well, there is that ....

The big difference now is that Burn is suffering a lack of cover from midfield. In the Arse fixture at home, I'm pretty sure Big Joe was also playing on the left of midfield.

Also, regarding Saturday, Dubravka should be doing much better, no way should he be beaten by a shot across his body from the edge of the box.

Yeah it makes you wonder how much of our solid defence was having Pope stopping shots doesn't it? I think Pope would have saved that.

It's a great shout, I think there's an argument to suggest a better squad of players could well do alright even under Howe's limitations. If he could just learn to manage the fitness properly, we've got the tools. Willock should have stood in for Joelinton meaning our inability to replace Burn due to FFP isn't as exposed. Both out as well as Tonali means we've got a dreadfully ploddy midfield. I mean you could argue for a midfield 3, Tonali, Willock and Joelinton is top-6, let alone Bruno being in there.

We do need five top class players in the Summer, though. We need a RCB, LB, RW, GK and CF sorted.

Joelinton wiping his arse for him then.. Burn needs replacing he's holding us back whoever is in front of him. I don't recall anyone blaming Maximins end product on useless support in fwd areas.

Probably ok with Pope for another season, but need to improve on Dubravka. Otherwise completely agree on the other four positions
