Hull fans following on from what looked a good window for you I have been surprised to see your results haven't been better - why do you think that is?
I might be wrong, but losing their Ivorian CM (Seri) during Afcon seemed to be a factor. He is back in time to play against us unfortunately, and with Downes being doubtful this could be a worry. That said, I think Morton, their other CM, went off injured on Saturday.
Former Saints CB Alfie Jones seems to be playing quite regularly. Nice to see ex players who didn`t get much of a break here have a good career elsewhere.
Massive game this and also an extremely tough one. Can definitely see their wide players causing us issues. Could be a tense evening and we'll need to stick with the team in the event of a rocky start. Win this one and I think we'll see it through. UTFS
I wouldn’t be surprised if Manning comes back for the “easier” looking Millwall game. Maybe Bree back tonight or sticks with Stephens
We're at home. Going defensive with Stephens sends out entirely the wrong message. Manning isn't that bad.
Maybe it's a case of 2+2=5 from me, but he was awful against Bristol and at fault for two of their goals.
Exactly. At home against lower half teams he looks fine. We haven't played a decent team at home for a long while though.
I'm dreading seeing Manning on the team sheet now Got meetings until 8:30. May try to duck out of my last one so I can watch some of the 1st half. Think this will be 2-1, 1-0 or 3-2. if we are going to win it will only be by 1. A draw is the more likely though. Hull are no mugs and it depends if we are over our blip or if Bristol City was the new norm.
True. So then a question for the others, if we win 10 on the trot is that a better record than Loading's 25 undefeated?
Yes, because if we win 10 in a row from here it will take us to the very brink of promotion, if not confirm it. Sorry Loading.
