That was actually written by someone who lives 5 minutes down the road from me, he's apparently a friend of a friend of a friend kind of thing so I'm told (not sure whether to believe it, I've never met him or heard of him other than through this, but guess it's entirely possible)

It does serve as a warning to making business decisions based on early morning phone calls to India. The cockerel crowing at the timely moment left the answer to "who do you have in mind for manager Mr Venty" being answered by a rooster calling "a cocky dude'll dooo". Phil Brown just missed out by the sounds of things.
Are these owners determined on pissing the Blackburn fans off? Every decision they make seems to be the opposite of what the fans want. They've cranked up the amount of abuse he'll get at the weekend from the Rovers fans even more.
Thing is, these sort of owners don't understand football or fans, and don't understand how clubs like Blackburn are part of the history and culture of the Town. They think they have just bought a sports team and ground. They don't even realise what's coming to them yet, or how fans whose family's have supported the club for generations can hate in the way we have seen over the years. It's not going to be pretty.
