If you fancy more of a city break type thing, I'd recommend Seville Stunning city, great food and weather is generally good
Aye, my son has a good taste in women, little bastard is always eying them up. Seems to be a good icebreaker, Romania it is.
Yeah, Florence looks nice at first if you like a bit of culture, but got bored there fairly quickly as it's all the same.
Andros was amazing but that was almost 30 years ago. Depends on age of child. When our youngest gets to 8 we’ll start inter-railing around Europe then when they become a bit older we’ll travel around the US. Up till then we’ll see the brilliant places within the UK like the Lake District, the Malverns, Cornwall etc
Yeah, yeah, I get the irony, but it really is repetitive. Every gallery has the same paintings. Every building looks the same style and has 4 statues of David. It's lovely to visit for a day, but stay there any longer and it's like Groundhog Day. Anyway, the only reason you had a different experience is because: a) You walk much, much slower than normal human beings, so probably only saw half of it. And b) You get lost easily and ended up admiring Luigi's private back garden. And c) You van't remember that you'd already seen the same paintings & statues.
This is coming from a guy who filmed himself on New Years Eve drinking out a bottle of fizzy piss like a chav in Italy too
That was a classy bottle of vino, mate. Not some cheap plonk I’ll have you know. Be honest, you didn’t like Florence because there wasn’t any chip shops.
To be fair, one thing Florence did have was lovely food. And I've just checked back for the video Magdad mentioned. Yeah, you're not making fun of me about class & culture.
If you want a mix of history and beach life can’t go wrong with Turkey - few days in Istanbul and then a flight down to the coast. Just make sure it’s not when Chippy is visiting.
Never noticed it, but if you keep away from the ones with mustard chinos or man boobs you should be fine.
