I was joking man. You called him a **** manager in that same post so I meant that. I'd buy you one back. Doesn't matter how much we argue on here, we're on the same side at the end of it all
Just to put it into perspective, in less than a year he has probably earned more than most people in their lives who turn up at the SOL. He should be buying us all a pint
The forum will be fine, think point scoring has creeped into it recently from both 'positive' posters and 'negative' posters. That then derail things and gets folk worked up I like hearing other peoples opinion on our club, i dont agree with a lot of what is said but i love hearing how others think about it The club will also be fine, we are still an attractive club with an exciting group of players that just needs the right manager to unlock it
We do. My worry is the uncertainty about ownership could stop things from progressing. Will suit them that Dodds is here and will keep us ticking over till the summer. Massive massive 6 months again.
Seriously though, there's very few people on here I wouldn't happily have a drink with. You're right, I am aggrieved that he's been sacked. I don't think it was the right thing to do. But we all want what's best for the club. We just think there's different ways of getting there. I often get sucked into an argument on here then think "I've made myself look like a twat, why did I bother?"
This summer is MASSIVE for the club from 3 points of view: Sorting ownership concerns Getting the right manager in Nailing the transfer window
As I've tried to say, opinions are all valid but there have been an edge lately. People should be allowed to post freely without feeling like they are treading on eggshells
Agreed, as long as things dont get personal then post as you wish If folk get annoyed with others just block them
I would argue with you about that but I have to go to bed as have to be up at 5 in the morning, every morning actually
Your spot on so god forbid Dodds loses the next 10 games do we get the pitchforks and burning crosses again
2 other things to note are that if you watch his left shoulder closely he pull it in to himself, a clear indication that he wanted no contact and Humes stare at him as he passes. He clearly saw him and lied about it and this last bit might have been the final straw.
There's no need for anyone to get personal (although easier said than done) Personally I don't like the ignore bit either as everyone has an opinion. We all just sometimes come from a different angle
I dont have anyone on ignore but noone really bothers me that much on here. Its just a forum talking to other sunderland fans so no point getting worked up! Dont get me wrong im raging after a defeat so stay off more after defeats as ill def fall out with folk with the mood i get into lol One of the things i love about doing scouting is hearing others views on football, need to be open minded about others views n its the same on here
