sure United are looking for better thanGordon and Isak.

Two of the best players in the league this season...isak in particular will be difficult to keep hold of though... Gordon has a little snobbery about towards him.

Man United aren't exactly brilliant with recruitment though so hopefully they continue down that road.. hopefully they still want Longstaff.

Also I see Thomas Frank has said that:

"Phil Foden is a very good player...for me, he's the closest England get to a Ballon d'Or winner in the future. I think he has that potential, that level."

Has he not noticed Jude Bellingham this season? I like Foden but he's definitely not even Englands best young player.

Do you watch a lot of Spanish football then, don't think I've seen that much of it at all, certainly not enough to make a fair comparison.

Mostly just highlights (very few full games) but Bellingham has been fantastic this season, think he's the top scorer in the league despite the fact they've started deploying him in a deeper midfield role in the last month. They loved him in Dortmund too and were expecting him to go on and do a great job. Last month Ancelotti said that he was "obviously the best player in the world" and whilst he's clearly going to be biased it says a lot that he's happy to say he the best player at the club without any concern it'll ruffle any feathers.

It's impossible to make a fair comparison as they don't play the same roles but if I was offered one at Newcastle there is only one correct answer (it's fair to say both are pretty big upgrades and aren't coming anywhere near the likes of us though!)

Fair enough mate, if you 've watched enough games at least you've had some insight this season.

I've not actually watched much of Foden this year (other than MotD highlights) but just checked on the bookies and they have Bellingham currently as shortest odds to win the Ballon dOr this year though obviously that's nonsense as there's an international tournament this year which England aren't going to win.
