Change of scrum half and change of tactics ‘changed’ the dynamics of the match <cheers>

If only that missed conversation had gone over. Credible comeback but a tough run of games ahead. It will be interesting to see how they go next week.

At 0 - 27 it looked like a 100% wooden spoon. We showed we can compete but it was too late. My worry is that Gatland will not harness that momentum and will revert to type and go back to the absolutely useless kicking game for the next match.

When did Howley reappear? That's not encouraging for any attack play <laugh>

The positives are that the squad can gel and grow in confidence from that second half. Will Gats let them flourish or back to same old? We can beat Italy and England if we capitalise on that second half.

We need to give the kids their head and go for it like we did in the second half <cheers>

I’d rather go down giving it a go rather than play that sterile, kicking approach in the first 40 minutes

Yep, you'd think with breaking the "kids" in and no chance of winning it, Gats would encourage more of the same and strengthen those foundations for what could be an exciting future... but we know Gats is pragmatic and cautious...

Really well poised at half time but a dreadful second - penalties, mistakes, bad decisions. Could have beaten an unimpressive England but hopefully a good learning curve. Can't play the "youngsters" card for too much longer, they're all professional rugby players. The most stupid and obvious mistake was constantly kicking possession away to Steward. And that was a penalty on Dyer right at the end but hey ho, the better side won.

I’ve seen better Wales XVs lose by more at HQ …

In some respects we lost that with Lloyd being stupid under his own posts and thinking of running it as they were down to 13 …..

If we had Ford at 10, we’d have won comfortably <cheers>

For the second Saturday running, Adam Beard was hooked at a critical point, last week with Wales in the ascendancy, this week with Wales in the lead.

    Wrong lock subbed again.

The coaches keep telling us that the players will learn from their mistakes.

    But when will the coaches?

I wouldn’t argue either - especially as Glyn liked a. ‘Duel’
