Agreed, I really didn’t want MB and said so. Took pelters for stuff I said that’s been confirmed right, but as soon as he was appointed my negativity had to stop. I was prepared to review at the end of the season, keeping my powder dry when stuff began to unravel. Some of the stuff written on this board about MB bas been embarrassing, the bloke was NEVER going to get a chance. I even reckon the players knew this too. These keyboard warriors need to a good hard look at their embarrassing behaviour. I’m praying the next appointment will be “the one”, but I’m not holding my breath. Bart
Sometimes you smell **** before you see it, I had an open mind as I thought maybe its just the Rangers fans, if anyone thought he did a good job in any aspect of the role, please let me know what it was
He was a dead man walking from day 1. If we are basing our views on what past fans say or past history then who are we going to realistically get?
How was he a dead man walking? the performance of the team was what got him sacked, his treatment of Hume was disgusting, he obviously has never had a job where he had to manage people, Rangers and us prove that as the stories are the same. Do you think if we had won the last 3 games and he hadnt behaved like a petulant spoilt brat with Hume he would have been sacked? So many narratives on this place. Yep its the fans fault he was utter ****
Social media was rammed before he was even appointed. The comments about his accent and appearance were disgusting. Performances haven't improved and it was never going to work, but let's not pretend that a fair few people had made their mind up no matter what had happened
People made comment on here, staying why they think it wouldn't work and why it wouldn't be a good appointment. Key word why. Beale had the opportunity to change the why it wouldn't work to it does work and he is the man. He did nothing of the sort. Sucked all life out of the place with his playing style, lifting press conferences and really inconsistent team selections. He wasted the opportunity that he was actually unfit to have.
I dont care about social media, do you actually believe thats what got him sacked. How about the teams insipid performances and results? No it was social media
So there wasn't a load of abuse for him before a ball was kicked? Bloke didn't stand a chance unless he produced miracle football. That's before you see he was left short by recruitment in the January window, but we aren't allowed to mention that
It was also because his history and people knew it wouldn't work here. That it would be a bad appointment from the start. People who have contacts in the game said the players won't buy until him and he will engage poorly with fans It's played out exactly as expected TBH.
Mention what you want, its a results based business, and he wasnt up to it, and it looks like he pissed off the players. So you think social media got him the sack? **** appointment, **** results, did you want us to keep him until his contract was finished? It just shows the data approach isnt working
He wasn't given a chance, maybe he would have learned from his mistakes. Obviously he hadn't which is a shame. But neither of you can sit and honestly say he was judged on results, because he was clearly pre judged. God help the next bloke if his cv isn't great, has a strange accent or doesn't look the part
Totally agree the personal abuse he's suffered is nothing less than disgraceful. Hope anyone involved falls off the face off the earth, there is no room in the world for people like that, embarrassing example of a human being. Gives the clubs fans a name. Unfortunately it's a problem in life so many t*****s sit behind a keyboard.
Have I said he was brilliant? No I haven't? Have I said I disagree with his sacking? No I haven't. I have said he was pre judged and nothing sort of miraculous form would have saved him. He was also let down by the January recruitment. But crack on being angry at the world
I think I believe him on that, may be wrong. He seemed gushing about Hume. Sounds like he dragged the players in Sunday and went home for a break. Don’t blame him for the second bit.
Cheers, who is angry?, it appears to be the muppets who think he was unfairly sacked. Crack on with your anger, social media blamer
He asked for more 'grey hair' and didn't get it, the whole thing seems at a crossroads of which way we jump going forward
