Any head coach wanting to now take the job knowing how impatient and judgemental our fans are must need their head looking at.
sorry not read the thread at all as on holiday. Has Beale asked to leave? I don’t necessarily blame him for wanting out. Wasn’t a fair situation for anybody
I was prepared to give him more time to turn it around, but also realise I was in the minority with my thinking. It turns out that he just wasn't a good fit for our club. No matter how good the results, he was into a loser, because a large proportion of our fan base prejudged him before he even set foot in the door. My bet is Mike Dodds until the end of the season and if he is a success, he may well land the job on a permanent basis.

This season has knocked our standing no doubt. We were being talked about as a progressive club six months ago. The wheels have well and truly come off that
Beale should never have been there mate. If they wanted to write the season off, they should have just appointed Dodds in the first place to let everyone know there was no ambition to go up.
Can’t change what’s happened (his appointment). Can only change the next decision. And it wasn’t working. So it’s the right decision.
Makes the most sense does it not? Already proven he can be tactically innovative, the players seemingly respect him judging by what was said in interviews when he took charge and if Still is the desired appointment we absolutely should not be paying the reported 7mill+ compensation for him right now when he is free in the summer. He should've gotten the job in December.
