It just need a little experience added imo. And patience as we try to develop, reinvest etc. Anyway, not to derail the thread, first step, admit they made a mistake with Beale.
The only credit they will get is that they finally listened and watched what Beale was doing to the club....The question for KLD is will he reappraise Speakmans role as for all the positives there do seem to be more negatives. KLD need to find and hire top class people , not the cheap options that seem to be camped in the Club at present. You either are 100% professional or your just another amateur.
Do you reckon Speakmans on the cheap? I reckon he was probably one of the top paid in league one will be on average if not upper average for championship and provably the best we could have hoped for previously If he goes and we get better I would think it would be down to the club progressing in that time and being a more attractive proposition (yes we will probably be able to pay more now but don't think he is here because he is cheap?).
Players back Beale When asked what has changed since Beale’s appointment, Ballard told the Echo: “I think it’s more the structure as a team. I feel like we are a lot more solid as a team. The recent results have just been frustrating but it’s a process. We love having the manager here and he’s got great football knowledge. We want results, not just for him but for the fans and everyone at the club, so it’s been a frustrating week.”
I’m not one to expect the club to comment on every rumour that goes around but I’m fairly sure we’ll hear something today regarding this. It’s too big to ignore.
Yes, I do as a basic.. However after speaking with mates in Brum he was apparently on a percentage of player values.. Now that would make him a high earner.
James Copley tweeting about it now https://x.com/jamescopley_/status/1759582604074885547?s=46&t=Jj5glQEDfviR5qBOwb72dg
Which begs the question, why have they been so under par for most of his short tenure. **** passing, lack of through balls, lack of what appears to be enthusiasm. It’s not all on Beale.
If he has resigned it is for self preservation. He leaves now with us still only 4 points off the play offs, he'll spin that as he wasn't far off getting it right and the fans just wouldn't give him the time, it's all our fault cos he talks with cockney accent and it was never going to work out. We're in for some mud slinging, a la Steve Bruce, if he has gone.
