With the Spanish you’re talking about a very small minority. Not even worth mentioning. I assume you’re talking about ETA? Same with the Greeks, if that’s still a thing it’s very marginalised.
There's always "common struggle" ****e in countries. The absolute best you will find on the internet is Scots having a common cause with the Irish. The smack decimated the Scottish people, they've lost their minds.
Aye half of Scotland think they’re Irish and hate the Brits (themselves). No idea why they don’t **** off over there. It would make sense. They won’t though because they know where their bread is buttered.
yeah they had links to EOKA and ETA who they supplied with bomb making expertise in exchange for guns. This was in the early days not so clued up about later though the links to the PLO and Libya are well known . Just find it odd to hate a people for the actions of of terrorist / liberation groups after all the main source of weapons for the Loyalist paramilitaries was Scotland but you cannot blame all Scots for those atrocities . Edit: probably should have carried on reading before posting
I don’t hate the Palestinians, I’ve just got no sympathy for them. Do you think they’ve got sympathy for the Brits that were killed by the IRA’s bombs? It isn’t just Hamas that see the IRA as friends, the average Palestinian is sympathetic towards them.
Not sure what is going on with the SKY News international correspondents at the moment, they seemed to have moved them all. Greg Milam was the main reporter for the US, he's now in the studios Diana Magnay is the main correspondent for Russia and was based in Moscow and has been moved to Jerusalem, which is a shot in the foot by SKY after the death of Navalny, who she often reported on. I also noted the other day Adam Parsons was no longer in Brussels. Along with a few others who I can't remember at the mo, all a bit strange, maybe cut backs... Edit: I forgot to add, there is one bonus to all of the above, they've employed Yalda Hakim in the studios over from the BBC @PINKIE
The average palestinian hasn't got a clue who the IRA are or were. 85% of the population is under 45 lol. More ppl in basque country remember the IRA than in palestine. The average palestinian's too busy getting through each day dodging israeli bullets and bombs and wondering when their homes will be bulldozed to be looking at world politics bro.
57 years ago Israel started a programme of illegal settlements... they had a choice ... they chose provocation by flying in the face of International Law... will never be a lasting, meaningful peace whilst those illegal settlements remain ... the West continues to avoid addressing this fundamental issue / stumbling block ...
You’ve got no sympathy for the 12,000* children the Israelis have killed in Gaza? * figures from Israeli newspaper Haaretz
My personal opinion is that this victim blaming game is complete ****ing bullshit. An attempt to dehumanise ordinary Palestinians and cajole a narrative that they somehow 'chose' or deserve what Israel is doing to them **** off.
Lol, you know what I mean though. Like blaming the soldiers blown up by the IRA. They deserved it coz their Govt sent them into N.Ireland Legitimate military targets, unlike the innocent civvys in Palestine
Lol no, I was using that example as an equally ridiculous stance to take. No innocent people deserve to die.
ITV now the view from the Russian side. Am English journalist is with the Russian army showing their point of view.
