They have not beaten us since August 2000, but things are a tadge different now. Although they have conceded 7 goals in 2 matches. We have only played 43 games with this lot and it is all tight, 14 wins 14 draws, and 15 losses. As I mentioned in my last post I thought the Gaffer F%$£@D up Saturday, then a last-minute panic. I read his after-match report and he clearly stated this should have been a 0-0 draw and that is what he clearly wanted. I cannot say I have been over-impressed with his tactics and setup. I could be made to eat my words. There should be a good crowd tonight due to the consequences of this result leading on to this Saturday.s game against another high flyer, Wrexham. We need at least 2 points from both matches and 2 defeats and we can say goodbye to our promotion chances this season. Not sure of tactics tonight but Williams should be on from the start, he is a big game changer. So my prediction, a draw would be great but they have shipped goals so lets see if we can punish them even more MKB 3 v 2 ( Mahoney, Hawkins and Nichols. Olaofe and Paddy Madden )
On current form I can't see anything but a loss even if Stockport have conceded 7 in their last 2 games. Gillingham 1-3 Stockport County (J.Williams; Oloafe, Madden & Sarcevic)
