Quite right. This is a place for expressing opinions. Oh! that' s just what he was doing though. Much as you are. Of course, this is just MY opinion.
Maybe I read what he said incorrectly, but I don't think he was telling folk not to express their opinions mate.
I just think people are looking too much into it. He's visiting a member of family with cancer, maybe time to put this speculation aside and just support for a while.

MY reading of the part you highlighted, starts with the word, 'MAYBE'. This is not an instruction. It is an ADVERB. He could easily have replaced MAYBE, with PERHAPS. TO ME, there is a big difference. Of course it is many years since my schooldays, so I by no means infallable.
The story behind it is that he didn't travel back to Sunderland with the rest of the team on the coach afterward.. If he wanted to present a "were all in it together" he should have. This feels like another Lee Johnson after the loss to Bolton or Grayson at the SoL ....Home on his own.and away from the team. Grayson never even saw the lads directly after the game.. he was , I'm told, stopped from entering the dressing room.
I'd put Durban in there also, since I started following the lads. Reidy team was the most exciting team I've watched but he didn't have a plan B once Quinny was in decline.
