I just think people are looking too much into it. He's visiting a member of family with cancer, maybe time to put this speculation aside and just support for a while.
I actually think people can think for themselves without you thinking you need to tell them what to be doing
As soon as I saw the photo of him on the plane I assumed he was just off to visit family and friends. People are trying to find a story that isn’t there, or just after likes on social media. On the other hand the season card renewals are due soon so I don’t think he will get a lot more time unless we stop the downturn.
Beale is Speakman's pick. He's Speakman's mate. KS is gambling his entire fortune on him being a success. There's not a chance he sacks him after 12 games when we are 2 wins from the play offs.
The Californian sporty fastback looked great. Always fancied putting a stupid big engine in one. Rear engined, would have been great.
We only see the 90 minutes which I think we'll all agree haven't been good this week. We don't see what's happening on the training pitch, the ideas he's trying to implement and what his relationship is like with the players and coaches. I'm sure Beale is being measured on numerous metrics and not just the results. I still think 12 games is far too soon to judge someone. Its not like we are getting hammered every week. Away performances have been crap but we are losing by the odd goal. Still think if we had a better no9 we'd have won/drawn some of the recent losses.
Surely after 12 games with 0 improvement whatsoever is a concern. In fact there’s an argument to say we’ve gone back over. I follow home and away and honestly I can hardly watch. It’s lifting.
Compared with other places it’s an oasis of peace and common sense There’s a feeling of desperation at the moment, a distrust which goes back as far as Ellis Short A certain podcast has fuelled this for years and its exploded since TM got pezzled I try to read these posts but I can’t get past the thought of who will buy the club and solve these problems? So far nobody has rocked up to take over
I'm not convinced there are many problems. We're part way through a rebuild process but that doesn't mean there is anything fundamentally wrong.
Yeah it is a concern. But 12 games is not a lot and he's been without Roberts pretty much the whole time and he's a big player for us in terms of being exciting and getting us up pitch. Home performances have been okay. But overall I'd agree its been pretty minging. Not sure how long we give him but I just dont see someone else coming in, supported by dodds and proctor, making that much difference.
I always thought it was strange to appoint Dodds as assistant. He wanted the job himself and had 2 very good results to back that up. I’m not suggesting it’s true, but being in football a long time, it’s possible that’s Dodds isn’t behind Beale. And that could be catastrophic for Beale, especially with Dodds seemingly good relationship with the players.
Well whoever has insisted on that dynamic being the way to manage a clubs first team is a fool if so.
The Hillman Imp was rear engined, Coventry Climax unit, troublesome as hell, I owned one in the early seventies, worked on it just about every weekend to keep it going through the week!
Well, if the players were in on Sunday without the head coach I hope it was to openly discuss how its going from their perspective.
