I learned something else about computers while in the pub with my lad yesterday.... We were talking about my laptop that crashed and how I had to try and recover the stuff on it. Anyway it brought us on to the subject of excel and word and he goes why you using them, I'm like what? Well it appears he uses google docs and sheets, so I had to get him to show me what he meant on his phone... Like why don't I know any of this shhite. Anyway, so I tried this stuff on my temporary replacement laptop today and it's all saved to your google account and you never lose it again. Also you can then view your documents etc on any device (no matter where created) like your phone, even some of my downloaded doctors stuff transferred into it, letters etc ... I bet you lot already know all this!
Habbit. tried using google doc and sheets. Functions are slightly different (maybe its just the browser version) and the shortcuts get override by the browser. Handy though for when you dont have excel or word which are quite costly
Morning. Another week of late nights and early mornings to look forward to. I’m really getting too old for this ****!
yea their licences are quite extortionate. i went without for about 10 years but i bought a new pc in Nov and they have these office licences that you can pay for like 50 quid but its limited to a single pc. I wont change mine for like 6 years so i bought it but otherwise i wouldnt bother and stick to google sheets
Grand national weights come out today. Exciting. I’ve got my eye on a couple I’m really interested in that could be big odds so will probably put a bet on that race today.
