I was in the bottom corner of the Milburn, probably the quietest place in the ground, but I got a great view of Lascells bollocking one of their players for stepping on the pitch when he was warming up <laugh>

Also one of the few places in the ground that’s not covered by the roof. Bloody soaked.

So was I, even though my seat is about 12 rows back,
The roof is so high that the lightest of breeze can blow the rain in

It's easy to score past Newcastle because they've been figured out .... figured out and guess what? Howe does the same thing until its too late week in week out.

Burn, Longstaff and Dubravka are the major weak links.

Hall is useless btw..... the two full backs in this game were excellent and we've never seen it ever again.

Oh well at least we've got a nice easy game to look forward to next. It will get worse before it gets better.

If it means we move on from Howe I’m not against it.

I'm all for replacing Howe, but he has to be allowed the opportunity to completely fail or the club just had to have been given positive noises from a world class manager.

Ultimately when Newcastle are ready to push the club on Howe will need to be replaced... you can't even attract out of favour top players ...he has no connections in Europe or anywhere else.

Agreed. He won’t be gone for a while sadly. I just look at Summer transfers with trepidation. Hopefully it’s more Bruno and Botman than Barnes and Hall. We could set ourselves back years if we **** about with more British plodders.

I firmly believe that if Joelinton is sold Howe will pay a good chunk for Billing as his replacement.
This will allow him to keep building around Longstaff in midfield... he'll probably sell willock aswel so he can buy a crap player for another position. Longstaff embodies everything wrong with the club and this manager. Newcastle and Howe will still want Phillips even after west ham say no.

Phillips has turned out to be a complete disaster for West Ham. Player has wasted his talent going to Man City.

Billing is crap. If we sign either then we won’t be doing anything soon.

As for Longstaff I have defended him for a while but I decided to watch his overall play yesterday and his positional sense was appalling. He gets credit for covering the ground but that’s because he doesn’t have that good a football brain.

He played very poor yesterday. When he was through on goal he was a couple of yards ahead and he seemed to get goosed by the time he got to the ball.
