As it’s almost that time of year I thought it might be interesting to see where fans stand on the renewals for next season. Saw quite a few on social media and also some of my mates mentioning they won’t be renewing. We had an increase this season due to finishing in the playoffs and also the style of football we were playing, the latter was more important for many. Will those additional fans no longer be here next season? Me and my dad will be renewing unless they do something stupid and increase the prices like Boro have, that would purely be on affordability though.
We will be renewing unless prices go up a huge amount. I did wonder if my dad wouldn't bother next season as he struggles at some games with his health, but so far he is saying he will and possibly just pick and choose which games he goes to
this is where i think fans might have to bite the bullet. we have very decent prices for tickets and to be honest i wouldn't mind it going up a little specially with the new FFP rules coming in, it depends how much the club take the piss with how much the put them up obviously
Think mine would be about £50 more based on last year’s standard prices, which wouldn’t be too bad I suppose.
Unsure what to do. Don’t wanna lose my LPs as they guarantee me for 95% of away games but we’re an absolute ****show currently.
I have received an email confirming that they have received my cancellation of direct debit for season tickets. I have been good enough to take the time to feedback to them the reasons which are mine only. 1. The unambitious and frankly always destined to fail quickly managerial appointment. 2. Unable to purchase a kids kit in the shop on 2 occasions when he went to games - he's now got a boro kit bought by other side of the family. 3. The shambles of the BLB for nufc game and lack of accountability since the apology. Generally seems very amateurish behind the scenes and I'll be back when things look like they aren't taking our season card money for granted. Just my opinion and feelings - very sad as first game was in 1977.
I'll renew as safc is my club and socially it's great to get to see family and keep taking the boyo to games. We have great seats with only the access in front of us. That said, I am not happy with how things are going and still to see a significant improvement of the pitch and I would expect Bruce to be leading that charge soon. I do think there is a canny portion of our fans on the fence, the early bird prices normally get lots to renew early, but I think a fair few might wait until the last possible minute of that window to see how things go.
Absolutely. I do 70% of away games as they’re great days. Yesterday was superb, other than the football.
i think i look it, people will always have the right to renew or not and have valid reason but i think some of the fans who renewed under shorts last season and all the seasons under donald but won't renew now, doesn't make sense to me, it's no where near as bad as what that was
You're right - but we fall in that category and it makes sense to us - its a bizarre situation the club has manufactured for itself with its actions, decisions and inactions since December.

but that's what i don't understand, its not as bad as the period we've just been through, but you renewed, but wont renew now, genuine question this mind, and not trying to have go, just general want to know what's pushed youse now and not then, but what made you renew then, and whats making you feel like you don't want to renew now?
I'll renew to be honest as long as finances and health allow I'll continue to renew regardless of the level we are at or how I feel about the club in general. Not saying I'm a great fan or whatever by the way at the end of the day I've always gone and it's something to do every other weekend. Those that say they won't will generally be doing it out of macho bravado in my opinion. 90% of season ticket holders will renew regardless. Again just my opinion.
