We have played some absolute garbage in this spell of games too. Had the chance to put a real run together , not get dicked my relegation fodder
But is that why Mowbray was sacked? Or was it because he was no longer happy working the way the club wants to work? The fact that results and points tallies are very similar under the two head coaches, points to the fact that both are capable coaches and that the squad isn't quite good enough yet to make a push for promotion.
Yeah he is a lying trash bag. Go and watch the itv highlights. It's clear as day, not gif , HD footage. You can see Beale looking at him, even puts his hand in his pocket as Hume walks towards him and speaks to him. All there on video. Another week another apology from Beale without it being his fault. Never is his fault and it's why the previous fan base seen through him and booted off, so he got the bullet
Ridiculous how many stood at the end of the game yesterday and clapped them off. Totally underserved, we were ****e - again.
Absolutely bang on. Never going to work. Almost everyone connected to Safc as a supporter wouldn't have had this bloke as manager and for good reason. Major problem here is Speakman would have to admit he's made a mistake and I really worry he doesn't have it in him to do that and we'll limp to the seasons end. Time for KLD to take the lead here - show he's in charge and make a bold decision imo. Not holding my breath but also won't be renewing our 3 season tickets if Beale's in post in the summer. Already emailed the club this and cancelled direct debits.
I know he is head coach and the buck stops with him bit we also have Dodds and Proctor who should have gave us stability in performance. I thought first half we played ok, we pressed high and had good tempo, but then second half we sat back and reverted to that awful passive defensive set up with 2 defensive midfielders and no press, the pace and movement disappeared almost instantly and it seemed like a tactical switch which IMO cost us the game.
It's why he's never actually managed a full season either. Who the fck thought this was going to work wants to give their head a shake as well.
Agree. It's a real annoyance. It's each week too. Tactical changes to go back to defensive passive mode. Just doesn't work , we don't have the experience or defensive midfield to do it.
We also have no experience amongst the 3 coaches. Either as senior coaches or from their playing days - not exactly stellar. Add to this Beales poor man management and it's a recipe for disaster footballing wise imo.
Tbf most fan bases give a new manager time and support. They don’t hound them out from day one. Yeah we have good numbers but apart that I can’t believe how bad our support has become. Every other manager must be looking at us now and thinking **** that.
I think it will be Dodds, that is if Beale is even sacked, Speakman admitting its a mistake will be the issue, unless he is overruled by KLD
Yeah it’s not happening. We all know this if we’re honest. I’m not ‘Beale out’ yet anyways but it’s getting really hard to defend after the last 2 performances and the Hume incident.
I can't see anything happening until the end of the season. Beale would not have been my choice but you need to give him a chance. Unfortunately I'm not seeing any improvement in our play. We may not have the strongest squad around but we have enough to be better than what we are seeing.
i think another question has to be when do we fully right the season off and start giving the game time to the players we need to be ready for next season auchi rigg hemir seelt pembele if we don't start giving them a lot more game time we'll be in the same situation next season
We won’t get play offs with Beale. I’d imagine it’ll be written off after the next 4 games, if not before. Thought we might have turned a corner after Plymouth, but there’s no signs of anything improving. Actually, we’re getting worse.
Aye that’s about it. There’s been some decent halves of g football but not a full game, we look less of a threat going forward and could argue that we are even more reliant on Jacky which is terrifying. Starting to play a striker is great but he’s vaunted as a top coach so how are we not picking out more of the runs being made? That’s coaching not management. Management is leadership and respecting your people. And the incident yesterday ****s on that as well. I just don’t know how a team with Jacky, Aouochiche, Paddy, Ba, Ekwah and now the hairdryer looking Mundle can’t look a threat of goals. The balance remains off in midfield, despite him having looked like he’d found it second half v Plymouth. My biggest sobering thought is I think we’d have more points had we kept Mowbray, and there’s no doubt Mowbray was hitting a wall. It looks like the season is going to fade out to a mid table finish and the next 4 are absolutely bastard games. We’ve had great wins against better sides though so as always it’s KTF and strap in.
It was written off the day this bloke was put in charge mate. Only ever going one way and that's into mid table at best.
