From the uddersfield forum, one of many:

“Furious at them in truth, I've ended up walking home (about 5 miles) to work out my annoyance. Defend one sodding set piece for a matter of sodding seconds, and we don't do it. Ignore the softness of the free-kick. We just needed to stand up for five sodding seconds and clear our lines against a side that we should have ****ing beaten, never mind got a draw. Just the same as the first, don't deal with a simple ball into the box. And we concede two goals against a side that, hitting the post aside, offered sod all threat after the 7th minute. They came to ****house a win, and they did. Utterly undeserved, but there we have it. Shot ourselves in the foot against bang average opposition.

I hate teams like Hull. All that talent and they can be distilled into a phrase better associated with submarine captains in the Battle of the Atlantic. Had they tried to play some football rather than suck the life out of the game, I'd probably be far less pissed off at losing to them, because hey. That's football. Win some and lose some. But I don't go to football to watch a spineless, bottleless set of officials allow a team of any colours to just kill it. I get why they do it. I don't actually blame them. They've not been in great form on the road - or at all - and want to win at all costs. I wouldn't send a team out like Rosenior did. I'd prefer it if Town didn't do it either. But three points justifies it, doesn't it? Fact is if the boot is on the other foot I probably have a moment of reflection after the game that I don't want to see that sort of thing, but at the time I enjoy three points. Because I'm a football fan and for God's sake I'm allowed to be a hypocrite when it comes to a Saturday afternoon. Although I'll also say this - a win bought through cheating is tainted, and I wouldn't want us to stoop to cheating to win. I don't mind a Town player being booked for diving - we should be better than that.”

I suggest he needs to invest in a new pair of spectacles, preferably not tinted blue and white. The bias is pathetic but typical of a lot of football supporters, especially when they’ve just lost.

I’m hoping for Tuesday that if Omur is considered fit enough, he starts on the right, with Jaden switching to the left and Zaroury dropping to the bench to come on later when their full backs are tiring.
I’d start Ohio, with Connolly coming on later. Sharp should be restricted to being thrown on towards the end of games when we just need to try and nick something, as we assumed would be the case when he was brought in.
Assuming Morton isn’t fit for Tuesday, at least Seri should be able to come in for him with Tufan supporting in the centre and I’d give Slater another go at right back, based on today’s performance before the enforced change, if Coyle isn’t fit to start.
I’d persevere with Carvalho as the 10, especially in this game as I think he’ll get more time and space and is less likely to get knocked off the ball so easily.
Just my thoughts, dead easy this football management stuff!

Ignoring the cheating claims, which are hilarious... we're the 5th best team in the league away. And are 8th in the league, level with the top 6. And have won four of the last five.

If we wants to look for sides in poor form, he ****ing supports one.

Bloody hell. I know we're all biased but that is something. We weren't at our best but sucking the life out of the game? Wonder whether this guy saw Huddersfield at The Circle this season. And his comments on our form are bizarre when we've won three away games in a row and 4 out of 5 in total.

Can’t disagree with any of that.

Good job we signed Slater btw. He’s played anywhere we’ve been in need, and done a job too.

Oh dear , have we upset some Huddersfield fans by beating them ? What a shame

Never liked them as a club or fans , not at all helped by the incident in 2004

It was ace that when we got the 2nd the two furthest forward were Greaves and Jones. We definitely weren't settling for the draw!

Morton getting injured affected us in midfield, up to him getting his first knock we were bossing the game, once he went off we were a bit disjointed and they took advantage. They have been in good form, so no push over, but we found a way to grind it out.
