So have I mate, but I’m in the middle ground, he makes some good points, but KLD still is new on the scene. He can only make a profit if we are successful and to be fair, he always said we need to be sustainable. That sustainability needs to be in the Premier League though.
I was told a few weeks ago about patto his bad attitude and drinking in Durham Of course you can’t believe all you are told
I'm sat on the same fence, I do find it curious why so many people don't think anyone would be interested in buying us IF he did fancy selling. Probably just me seeing the club through my red and white glasses
If I was Clarke, I would be very pissed off with Ian Harte talking publicly about whether or not I want to move in the summer. At this stage of the season, everything needs to be private between the player and his agent.
No harm in advertising the product for Harte. If he was trying to force a move suspect Jack would have binned him. More likely just keeping him in shop window so can get the best deal when time comes. I’m in a forgiving move today.
You have to hold up your hands and admit you've made a mistake. Kyril, Kristjaan, that time is now. I was prepared to give Beale a chance, as I'd give anyone coming into the club. But he's shown himself woefully lacking. **** knowa what happened at half time today, but culminating in blanking one of our players is beyond unacceptable, Get rid. Now. Posted elsewhere at 5pm ish today
.irrelevant. Reality is reality. We are lifting at the moment and all the life has been sucked out of us.
Yeah I agree. The shame in it for me is that the clubs linked excluding Lazio are all smaller than safc. If he does move, it's a cash thing. One season in the Premier with a club like burnley won't achieve much imo.
I think Clarke and Ballard are almost certain to leave in the summer, the likes of Patto, Dan Neil and Ekwah are likely to be subject to enquiries but I think we’d be asking for too much money to get bids unless we’re actively seeking to sell. This is all good though as we seem to be constantly recruiting so that we have a conveyor belt with players moving up from the bench to being a starter.
Neil doesn’t want to go anywhere supposedly, not yet anyway. That was what I was told at the start of the season by someone who knows him. He’d rather have success with Sunderland first but the way things are going would anyone blame him if he left. Clarke will be interesting as I genuinely think he is happy here, can see the club accepting offers in the summer but it’s still up to the player if he would want to sign for any of them. Other than the three you mentioned I wouldn’t be surprised to see bids in for Ballard, Hume and Jobe
The absolute certainty gives it away. I’d read that patter for months before I stopped bothering. I can’t see the future, but I do know we’re considerably better off than we were a few years ago. If KLD was as good as his dad, he wouldn’t be here. If KS was up to Premier League standard, he’d have moved on by now. They’re both learning, just like our very young team.
