I said it will have been dealt with in private, I bet you it's not the talk of the dressing room other than a bit of banter
Don't bother. I am calling it a day. The big positive brush is out. No stopping it. By tomorrow it will be Humes fault for offering his hand
I've never seen anything like that before. What a ****er. Oddly enough, talksport, this morning were on about when managers don't shake hands because of some kind of needle and how it becomes a talking point....and low and behold, Beale does this later in the day. Tell you what, the players won't like that one bit. Public mugging off.
Exactly, I think Beale was the was the wrong choice as manager. But people are just using it as a stick to beat him with. They should be more concerned with our last 2 poor performances
That’s the difference mate, TM wouldn’t have done it, his man management was 1st class. That’s why the players loved him
We've done well bringing in good lads to build the right culture, shame we seem to have not applied the same criteria to the coach. Reet I'm done. Have a good evening all.
He might have done if he was pissed off with him. He might have done if he didn't see him. Either way, people are making a mountain out of a mole (see what I did there?!) hill.
How anyone can say the head coach snubbing a player is acceptable is beyond me. We all want the best but come on, there is only so much you can defend
Given the physical evidence available of camera footage and line of sight of human beings. He is a liar or has eye conditions which means he shouldn't be a head coach of football.
He either didn't see him or he was pissed off with him. If he didn't see him, he didn't see him. If he's pissed off with him, is he not supposed to express that?
i rarely get into these discussions, for many obvious reasons, but during the match the commentators mentioned how hume had been ignored and showed beale looking at hume and hume extending his hand to beale...you simply cannot think it was accidental or that beale never saw him, now, i have been hanging on and trying not to give credit or doubt to beale so as to give him a chance, but that was and is a publice and televised 'snub' on one of his regular first teamers. so let's take the other side of the argument, he says he did not see hume and it was sorted in private, fair enough i guess but this man has had a terrible start to his job here (not all of his own doing as well) and has to replace a well thought of manager, he needs to be making sure the players and the fans are in sync with him..a simple act such as this raises suspicions that not everything is right and if hume the only player to have such a reaction. it was not a good look for a man hoping to get fans support in his quest to get more accepted.
I have to say,and while I respect everyones opinion,a manager should always protect his players imo, no matter what he thinks, you don't do stuff like that where it's clearly going to be seen and a mountain has been can be made out of a mole hill now.Stuff like that should be kept in house. And it doesn't matter that it was Beale, it's tosserish for anyone to do and just so happens to have been Beale. But stuff will be made out of it now and more press time for Beale to get asked about it. As for the last 2 performances, very poor indeed mate.
Just read that. For grumpy to be so negative things must be wrong. Unfortunately I Have to agree with him and it’s not just me All the positivity and momentum of the last 18 months seems to be being sucked out of the club. Beales appointment has been a disaster
The head coach has said he didn't snub him, he said he didn't see him and will apologize to him. People making it a bigger deal than it needs to be because Beale isn't liked. I am more concerned by the last 2 performances than this.
It was wrong no matter how you dress it up. Private apologies mean nothing. I expect our head coach to be more professional
