Leeds won’t win every game until the last game of the season and neither will we. Plenty of ups and downs to come for both of us before that showdown, and Ipswich aren’t out of that race quite yet either.
TBH this would have been a weekend that they would have hoped to gain points on us. The fact they haven't gained so much as a goal is a plus for us IMO.
So we’ve just had our best form in a century, it is typical it would the same season our promotion rival has their best form in 80 years.
It’s going to be a tough few weeks. Ipswich have the easiest run in of the three chasers and us the hardest, on paper, but we saw last night that we can beat one of the best home teams in the division. I am also expecting a few strange results as it isn’t unusual for a couple of lower teams to string a couple of wins together, against good teams, as they try to avoid relegation. I am comfortable about going to Ipswich and Leicester because when we played them at SMS we were still learning Russball and it wouldn’t surprise me if we beat them both. Win our game in hand and it’s ours to lose, although I don’t want to go to Elland Road needing to prevent a Leeds win.
Hopefully Leicester don't manage to turn this around, because a defeat for them will hopefully sharpen their minds vs Leeds next game. We want them right up for that game, just like Leeds will be.
I don't think anyone will catch Leicester. I'd be haap with a draw against Leicester next week, although we did beat them at their place, and have done the double against Ipswich.
Leeds play Leicester next Friday too. We need a big week, Could only be 5 off Leicester end of play next Saturday.
Leicester like Saints, Leeds and Ipswich will all hit bumps in the road results wise, just how many and to who. Being honest can’t see Leicester finishing outside of the autos.
