We haven't won for 15 games, Bolton outclassed us at the Valley earlier this season and have a good chance of the automatics, so there's only one possible result- a comfortable home win. Yet our second-half performance against Lincoln was not the same Charlton of the latter stages of Apples' reign, and Bolton will be missing some key players, including Santos, that one-man barrier. If Ramsay is fit I feel it's not a foregone conclusion, and we could see the same team start, with the same subs to come on after an hour. Possibly Coventry for Bakinson the most likely change.
If we can put in a good performance away from home it will augur well for our relegation battle. The players are learning to play differently under a new manager, and he'll only pick those who put in a proper shift, like Anderson who was everywhere on Tuesday. If there is a continued progression we can pick up some points from the next 3 games, then go into March and finish the season strongly.
Perhaps it’s a good thing that you’re not a betting man anymore And as posh is about - my tip for the day - £100 each on a Blackpool win, a Posh win and a drawer. Odds are 4/1, 2/1 and 3.6/1 respectively, so you literally can’t lose and stand to make £200 if Blackpool win. You know it makes sense.
Interesting. Nathan Jones is certainly trying to change things. God only knows if this line up will get slaughtered or spring a surprise win…….
