Udoggie and Porro can be game changers which is ridiculous especially in Udogggies case as he is so young. We will certainly miss their input but I have no doubt others will step up in our multi talented squad.

Lots of calls on social media for VDV to move to left back so Dragusin can start or Dragusin even at right back.

Can’t understand why people want to break up our best centre back pairing when there’s absolutely no need to. Davies is more than capable back up for left back.

Has anyone even seen Dragusin play right back? Royale is more than capable to do a job there. If we’re a bit more defensive in those positions maybe we’ll actually keep a clean sheet as this really needs to be addressed. Hopefully it’s just a case of getting the back 4 used to playing together though as with the injuries, I imagine they’ve only played about 15 games together.

Completely agree. This is the whole point of a squad, that if your first choice players are injured, then you use their replacements.
Royal and Davies aren’t Porto and Udogie and we will miss that part of their game going forwards. But they have other qualities that could be useful in a game like today.

On way to inlaws...stopped for coffee at service station and a car pulled up with wolves fans and parked next to us <laugh>

As a socialist who don't believe in God I immediately saw this a sign that we were gonna lose... <wah>

Went to Dr's this morning cos I've had a cough for 6 weeks and lots of aches etc...got rushed appt for xrays and blood tests ... "just to rule things out" ... hoping for a great game and result to stop me over thinking.

Wolves have been a bit of a bogey team for us of late, we are due a result against them. I`d love a steady 2-0, a clean sheet and less than double figures chances conceded against us. You never know, we may even see a lesser spotted penalty awarded to Spurs...... scratch that I`ve just seen Anthony Taylor is the referee.

    It’s as you’d expect

    Vic
    Emerson Romero VdV Davies
    Sarr Bissouma Maddison
    Kulu Richy Son

Strong bench too, if a little heavy on midfielders!

    Loving that starting MF <cheers>
Need a big performance from Kulu, but to have Johnson, Werner and (only then) Bryan as replacements is comforting!

Dragusin is our only fit defender left right now

As for the rest, buckle up...
    Dorrington - injured
Sessegnon - limped off after 30ish minutes for the U21s today
Sayers - assume he's injured, as he's not been in U21 matches lately
    Dier - loaned
    Phillips - loaned
    Rodon - loaned
    Reguilon - loaned
    Spence - loaned
    Tanganga - loaned
Lyons-Foster - sold to HJK Helsinki this week

To underline how bare bones we were, Jude Soonsup-Bell played at RB for our U21s earlier

You can get the full experience of one of our matches officiated by Anthony Taylor by screaming "How was that not a foul, you daft twunt?" every six to eight minutes without even having to watch the game

Wolves playing well so far. Doing well at disrupting our rhythm and they, like others, have worked out that if you don’t press our CBs and just sit on the 6 then it messes up our progression a bit. Especially with our backup FBs.

Think if we move the ball quicker then it’ll open up a bit for us.

Wolves are getting exactly the game they want. Stop start and they’re riling the crowd up. We’ve struggled to get into any flow.
